I decided I love the different colors around the flowers…easier to get rid of small amounts of scrap yarn too! 😊 I knit socks throughout the year so I have lots of leftovers and if the flowers are smaller…. I think that will look just as nice☺️💕

In my pert opinion, I prefer the color granny squares the BEST! 🤠

By doing so, he saves the Dead Lady’s Reputation of Good Taste, so that she may Rest In Peace knowing that the finished product is Carlos Approved and Appreciated for a place in their home and lifestyle. Fin I think you may have a book series with that and maybe a ballet, “She Handed in Her Slippers .” In any case, I like this cross stitch because it looks like it has owl eyes and the yarn colors are nice. Plastic laminating the directions is a good idea that I think I will use.

Oh to win Lotto and be able to just pop over the 17, 638 km to Norway from New Zealand to join one of your cruises! 😂 And then I just hear you say about the Antarctic cruise! Well, I truly know how a good southerly direct off the antarctic feels like! LOL

I love both of your hexagonal crochet pieces. The one with the black back looks "chic", the other one has more of a rustic look. Some day I will make some of these.

Beautiful! I prefer the black background for unification, The lighter one looks a little too scrappy for my taste because it lacks contrast. However, I think ANY unifying background color is helpful in creating a unified look, whether dark or light, high contrast or low contrast. I just really like the scrap flowers to pop or gracefully blend into a background. Love you guys!!

Carlos, thanks for the reminder to finish some projects before starting a new one😊. My projects are piling up like past boyfriends without purpose or place because they are not finished. I either have a habit or am under a fashion spell. I certainly do not want to leave Dead Lady Projects or be known as the Dead Lady with Unfinished Projects!😮😂 I would think I know better because I have finished some Dead Ladies ‘ Projects for charities like knit blankets with two rows left, and making hats, scarves, shawls and wrist warmers from leftover crochet granny squares. .....well, my yarn and pattern choices are better than ones I have finished for others. Time to finish a project and let go of another boyfriend.😂

The hexagons with the many colours would look sooo nice on a white background. Almost like the quilt pattern 'Grandmother's garden'. Love it!

Both options are beautiful. However, what about a blanket using both the black and the mixed colors? For example, make the background with the black and incorporate the mix colors into a pattern on top? Inspiring!
