I clocked that too, had me yelling at the TV Sunday. She’s been nothing but upfront with him. She has played it completely straight. The end of the relationship has followed a very predictable progression, and everything she’s said she would do, she’s done. Trustworthy af. But people who lie are suspicious of everyone else around them because they think everyone else is lying like they are. He’s projecting. What a fool.

it's even more disgusting, that Christine thinks she has the right to move that child 8h away from her father. More than a 1,5/2h move should be prohibited by law, otherwise how are you going to make sure regular visits are even possible?

@Aspen Terrashe has said that only her name is on the lease. Besides, she helped Robyn financially so that she could buy her house in Las Vegas, and she gave up her share of Coyote Pass. She doesn't owe Kody and Robyn anything.

@Aspen Terra Initially they did help with down payment and his name was on the lease, cause she was waiting on the sell of her Las Vegas home. Once that sold, she got a new mortgage and paid them back and the lease was in her name only. Plus she sold her plot of Coyote Pass to Kody for $10. So its Christine’s house to sell and use the money for house in Utah.

I’m happy for Christine and I pray Jennelle leaves too. They are both wonderful, strong women.

I agree that this is true in polygamist cults, but I really don't think that Christine has been that sheltered. In fact, I don't think Kody has kept any of them sheltered, except maybe Robyn. They have all (except Robyn) had jobs, and paid their own bills.

The whole point of the show has always been that they are FLDS polygamists, they were openly members of the AUB (a literal mormon fundamentalist cult) for most of the show's run, lol. They're just not compound/child bride cultists, they're free range/cosmopolitan cultists.. But, definitely cultists none the less.

@@loveislove-le5nj a lot of polygamous families receive food stamps etc. Christine received stamps at one point and I believe maybe Medicaid. If the father is on the birth certificate they must file for child support before the state will help them. A lot of women in different religious communities or women in general wouldn’t list the father on the bc even if he was in the home to get services. Social services got on to this and they have to now prove they don’t know who the father is.

Imagine THINKING those lies are convincing 🤣 Kody gives his wives no credit and really thinks Christine is an idiot... She's holding back laughter in that clip as he lies to her 😅 he is so cringe

They were never legally married and if his name is not on the title to the home then he has no rights to the money unless she gives him the money. Did he really think she was stupid enough to buy "the state essentially becomes the owner of Truly"? Like what?!? That made absolutely no sense at all....he sounded really dumb...that was not being creative it was just plain stupidity. He is something else. I hope Janelle and Meri finally wake up n leave him too. I personally am not a fan of "divorce" bc no one wins...but in this case they need to run. He is an extremely emotionally abusive person and they don't deserve that. 😔

I'm pretty sure Christine has made a vow to herself not to do or say anything to humiliate Kody, to be the bigger person and a really good parent in this situation. Diminishing a parent in a young child's eyes is so damaging to the child. It's the only reason I can think of that she hasn't laughed in his face or reminded him of his actions during these divorce conversations.

So much about this situation speaks to me, it's hard to explain but it's all really powerful. Watching Christine love herself so definitively helps me bring that side out in myself.... This is probably the wrong video to comment on since she's talking about money and that's not what I mean.... It's just that she's energetically ready for zero nonsense and loving everyday and I love that for her.
