Imagine may sound like a good song if you don't analyse it or have a conscience. It really is asking one to ignore God and His Heaven and to sweep under the rug other issues God sees as important. To deny these and hope to just think your can think them away or dream them away is to be in denial of what God says we should be concerned about plus to believe in Him. How or why should we join them the writer of this song? To be and athiest, a blasphemer of the Almighty God is his goal and campaig n. She is a good singer but this song should have been trashed long ago and her not singing it.

Very beautiful melody but fundamentally flawed idealism that knocks nations and religion, which are both fundamental to a sense of identity , social cohesion and the peace that the song dreams of.

She is one of the faith. I know what you mean. But Siss is solid and the evidence is glaring. I too have balked at her singing this song... but I know she is true. She cannot have sung Slow Down last year as she did and be a subscriber to the philosophy of Imagine.
