Sirens sound alarm after North Korea fires missile over Japan | USA TODAY
Japan sounded the alarm and issued a J-Alert urging residents to seek shelter after North Korea fired a ballistic missile over the island country.

North Korea on Tuesday fired an intermediate-range ballistic missile over Japan, its neighbors said, escalating tests of weapons designed to strike key targets in regional U.S. allies.
It is the most significant missile test by North Korea since January, when it fired the Hwasong-12 intermediate-range missile capable of reaching the U.S. territory of Guam. It is also the first time that a North Korea missile has flown over Japan since 2017.
The United States said it strongly condemns North Korea’s “dangerous and reckless decision” to launch what it described as a “long-range ballistic missile” over Japan. “This action is destabilizing and shows (North Korea’s) blatant disregard for United Nations Security Council resolutions and international safety norms,” it said.
The Japanese prime minister’s office said at least one missile fired from North Korea flew over Japan and was believed to have landed in the Pacific Ocean.

Today's Japanese? If you're talking about the old wartime Japanese, nope, they would be the ones firing the missile and being a nuisance to the world. If America even just stopped short of occupying the home islands, there would be two DPRKs, not one.
Imagine surving the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bomb and you hear this💀💀💀
I can imagine a North Korean missile having sparks coming out of it as it rockets through the sky.

As Japanese, I had a flashbacks
Oh that's terrible when Japan has always been at peace; Japan would never start a war like they used to. Especially not against North Korea. Also try to remember the time when Japan, won against Russia in 1906. 😕

@Vanguarded_Heart 117This is all about the history of Japan I never knew; the Japanese immigrants came into California in 1885. Not one Japanese woman has ever handled a Japanese man's work, such as be a kamikaze pilot during WW2. Nazi Germany was getting away with; secretly supporting the Japanese, during the grest depression America. In this case it was Russia, who felt squeezed in the middle. & this is Japan's history time line. 🇩🇪
I was in a small island in Japan and when I heard the alarm on my phone, I thought it was a typhoon warning but when the alarms went off again and I read the message, I was shocked to find out it was a missile.
These are called mind games !!! 😱
I absolutely loved every second of listening to this w my headphones 🤓

Starting a missle test in Japan without ever notifying Japan about it? Yep. Sounds totally North Korea to me.

Modern nuclear missiles (at least the ones we have) can be off by about a coin. So if it goes, it will hit its target 100%.
But my question is still stuck. Why cant the Japanese air defense shoot down the missile? lets just pretend a normal missile sent from north korea
