not saying he didnt deserve it, of course, but he won because Hooper had some gear issue. Hooper can definitely lift those stones, he´s done it before, that is why he won the worlds. Meaning that without a gear issue Evan wouldnt have won and its probably not the ideal way to win, but well, this happens. Pretty much every athlete has lost positions and even the first place due to equipment issues or wrong choices.

It's great to see Pavlo getting Evan pumped up. I can only imagine what it would feel like having those gorilla hands smacking me on the back. 😂

The biggest sports in the world like american football place a large emphasis on non-sport entertainment at their venues (celebrity opening pitches, cheerleaders, etc) so I doubt this stuff will hold strongman back. If anything having Eddie williams get tons of views via singing will drive more attention to strongman

It's reason why Arnold's is absolutely boring, also it's an arena show plus Eddie loves to sing. GL shows sell out regularly compared to Rogue International hardly anyone is there for the strongman but the crossfit
