Sinead O'Conner - 3 Babies - Vicar St, Dublin 27th October 2019
I was shocked to hear about poor Sinead's passing this evening. I first saw Sinead as 15 or 16 year old singing with TonTon Macoute in some pub in town and she was incredible. A very beautiful thin girl with enormous eyes and an enormous voice. It was one of those occasions when you just know that you have witnessed something very special. I've seen her a number of times since and have met her now and again walking in Bray where she lived for many years. Always a beaming smile and a 'hello'. I last saw her in Vicar St in 2019, at what turned out to be one of her very last shows. So she has been part of my music world for about 40 years and I will miss her. I filmed this video at that last Vicar St show. Thank you and rest easy Sinead... 💚x

I am still crying. No other songs have meant as much to me as so many of hers. They go directly to the heart. And no other artist has given me as much strength as she has. She had the strength to be true to herself and still vulnerable, giving her heart to us. Thank you Sinéad, wish I could have said it to you while you were still alive.

Thank you for posting this amazing performance by the late great Sinead /Shuhada ( the witnesser). I wish no could have seen her live at least once.
I think her spirit will definitly still live on, and inspire many in her community, in her country and in the world at large, more for the bravery she had and for wanting to stand for the trunth and justice. Fame for her was not the goal or a priority, in fact she gave up her titles and rewards, but she could not stand injustice and she wanted to leave a mark and she did regardless of the unfortunate consequenses she knew she would be facing. She fought for justice and she was in her journey looking for guidance. Being as smart and wise as God made her after so much sacrifices, her strugles, and her tribulations in her entire life,, when she saw the light she embraced it all heartedly, and with no hesitation. May God give you Paradise just like he promised to those who would believe in Him and sacrifice.
