I was 3 years old. My dad introduced me to the Sinbad movies early. What a wonderful childhood. Miss those days of wonder. These are good to rewatch. Since then I introduced my 3 sons to these as they grew up.

You said it dude, nowadays they don't make such films, ' Pirates of the Caribbean' and another film, I forget its name; about an Arab adventurer played by Antonio Banderas, who meets the Vikings and joins up with them, besides this, I don't know of any film featuring the Arabian Nights.

@@AbbasAli-gs2fm 13th Warrior, the Banderas film, is more of a retelling of Beowulf, not from Arabian Nights. So many good stories in Arabian Nights, it's a shame Hollywood doesn't pay attention to more of them.

I was hoping for some stop-motion magic … but it’s still nice to see an old 69s fantasy film.

I tried watching this a few months ago, probably on Prime. Made it as far as the Princess being hoisted on deck in a bird cage before my own mind betrayed me and knocked me unconscious. Tonight, so far, I've gotten as far as the Bamboo Balloon. None but Allah knows if I shall live long enough to reach the end credits -

Начало фильма. Танцует какая-то Анжелика. За ней сквозь решетку наблюдает какой-то Амаяк Акопян. Затем Акопян заряжает арбалет 😂 с оптическим прицелом 😂 и стреляет в Анжелику. Что интересно, попадает.

Sinbad is by definition of the character Sinbad a man who lives by his wits. He is of noble birth, this is unknown to his peers and he lives as a common man and works for a living. He is a sailor and a good fighter because he has lived as a common man instead of a noble and royal man. Definitely a Sinbad movie.

I have my issues with modern movies, but am very greatful they don't make them like this anymore. I found them absurd ad a kid in the 60s and have not changed my mind. It says something about the state of the world that this acting seems more natural to anyone.
