Along with "the face on you, the smell of you, will always be with me" that is my favorite line from my favorite song ever. No exaggeration here. This has been my favorite song since like 1992. I don't know how it doesn't affect everybody like it does me.

Rest in peace, Sinead. Thank you for all the beauty you have brought into this world.

Sono italiana come te e amo Sinéad da 49 anni...per me non morirà mai, il suo essere contemporaneamente fragile fisicamente, minuta, leggera e così potente, graffiante e sincera nella personalità e nella voce, mi ha sempre colpito e l'ha resa, ai miei occhi, diversa da tutte le altre cantanti degli anni '80 e '90. Non la dimenticherò mai, ha avuto un'infanzia orribile, la madre beveva, era bipolare e la picchiava, eppure in Sinead ho sempre visto una donna buona, timida, ma decisa a far risplendere la verita nelle sue canzoni con tutta la sua forza. Spero che ora stia correndo libera come il Wild Horse della canzone e che diletti gli angeli con la sua voce trasparente e aggressiva allo stesso tempo, in terra io la terrò per sempre dentro di me.

Aveva un aspetto cosi esile e giovanile e meraviglioso che sembrava un eterna bambina ed ha sofferto tantissimo forse perchè professava un mondo diverso da quello in cui ha vissuto senza ingiustizie guerra fame violenza ed invece si era resa conto di essere cresciuta in un mondo dove tutte queste cose erano al ordine del giorno e cercava dei colpevoli a tutto questo stato di cose.P.S. @@hugobossdog2769 Speaking as someone who knows the indescribable pain one feels after loosing a loved one to suicide I don't believe anyone has the right to say what you said. My younger sister lost her precious daughter at 15 to suicide. She somehow managed to survive 13yrs after and when she couldn't bare the pain any longer she took her own life leaving two of her children behind. Unless you're in the shoes of a person who knows what it's like to lose a loved one to suicide you have no right to judge. I found my sister I was traumatised for a long time afterwards. Its a well known fact that when you lose someone you love to suicide you are at risk yourself. I choose to seek out therapy for myself that was my choice. I pray 🙏 I really do that Sinead and her three children will find the strength to get through each minute of every day. God bless you 🙏 all. Sending you all love and prayers ❤ kate

@@katemaguire-gamet9828 erm, this is not a game of one upmanship, and I'm truly sorry to hear of your loss, HOWEVER , my best friend of 13 years, Damian, aged 37, took his own life last July 7th 2021, by hanging himself from a tree in the park where I walk my dog every morning, and I am still awaiting the hearing of the Coroner's Inquest, which are all delayed due to Covid in the Uk. Damian's body was returned to Poland and buried and I was unable to attend his funeral and I can tell you that not yet being able to say my final goodbye to him has been extrodinarily painful. In addition to this my first cousin was killed in a car crash aged 19, unable to take the grief his brother killed himself the following year aged 22, by running in front of a car on a busy road, while his mother was driving to collect him and arrived at the scene. The pain their Mother, my aunt endured that I witnessed first hand, to lose two sons, was unbearable. But she survived for the sake of her last remaining Son. She is the bravest woman I will ever meet. She remarried and moved on. eventually. I stand by my comment that Sinead should focus on her other children if not able to to love herself. it just might save her life too. Best wishes x
