  This song was released in either '85 or '86 Great song 🎵 👌 The best thing about the 80s was the Fantastic music Ireland was gripped with recession in the 1980s but we had Great music like this to get us all through I was 7 or 8 when this song was released

  This is _such_ a goddamn banger it's not even funny! The whole track is utterly inundated in groove and swagger. A true exemplar of 80s pop, a sound so many tried to emulate, but only a select few truly succeded in transcending their fleeting moment on the charts - especially those who _heavily_ emphasised this kind of production/mixing and overall "vibe", as it's those artists who sound the most "dated" now - whereas this classic, despite featuring all the stereotypically "80s" gimmicks, manages to persist through sheer talent and songwriting ability.
