Very nice build, and I got a few ideas to use on an upcoming planer stand. It is a fairly quick project, and burns up a lot of the scrap stuff laying around. The only tip I could add is to use your nail putty after putting on the clear finish. Shop projects (with natural finishes) aren't critical, but the putty does leave a 'halo' around the hole when applying finishes. These areas might look different, as the putty does partially seal the wood.

Just finished up your Ultimate Drill Charging Station. Just need to add the finish. Grabbed these plans today as I need an outfeed table. The only difference is that I plan to put some drawers on the bottom. I just need to leave space for the motor on my old Delta Super Contractor saw. Which will need to fit under the table. Great vid and explanation. Hopefully this will be my last build before I start building product. Thanks

I built one very similar out of 2x4’s and MDF and love it! (I need another one)... I added MFT style 3/4” dog holds and got some Kreg holds for it - works great! The only issue I have is that the table gets in the way of my SawStop 4” vacuum hose port - I see your table has a raised bottom so maybe if I raise it a little more it will be high enough to clear the vacuum hose port. Thanks for the great build!

Awesome table. I REALLY need to get around to building a proper workbench and also an assembly table. I think I'll start with the table before tackling the workbench. You shocked me when you said you're over 40. I never would have guess you were past your 30's. I can relate to getting older. I'm almost 40 myself and when I get that 8/4 material on the table I miss my 20's body :)

I love your toys. I am a Mexican, that means I am pour. And a pour guy uses the sawsall as a jigsaw, the regular skill saw as a table saw, miter saw and a router. A drill as a impact. I'd recommend making it a bit taller so that the table is only about 1/16 lower from the table saw so that pieces don't drop down when you are cutting long boards.. Just route some grooves to match the grooves on the saw for jigs

Gage Pine I have thought about that but with the table being on wheels and mobile the possibility of the table getting knocked to one side is great and then I would be bumping the table saw sled into the table creating an unsafe situation. Plus I have a 10yo who tends to lean on tables and move them.

  • @jeremyspecce

Jk Canvas yeah, I have to agree, my outfeed is permanently mounted to my saw so I made it about flush and routed grooves, with wheels, though, unless there's some way to sort of dock it to the saw I do think there's a pretty good likelihood of the grooves not being where they need to be by accident.

Mine will be shorter than the miter slots in the table. Thanks for the info and keep the good stuff coming.

Great video, really appreciate the step by step and the printable plans. Super easy to follow and easy to build. Question, trying to pick out a good plywood foe the table top. Any recommendations? (Oak, Maple, Birch, ect.) I know you used MDF at first but said not to, and I would like to use something else other than MDF mainly for strength and durability reasons. Any advice would be great! Thank you!

TIP: instead of T-Track, look into “MicroJig MatchFit” clamps/system. Eliminates the need for track all together. Their clamps use a dovetail groove/bit and that’s it. You can easily make any grid/pattern layout anytime how you want without costing you any more money.

Hi, I just have a question. Recently, I seen one of your videos on how to transfer a image on to wood using the polycrylic. Thank God I found another solution into transferring a image on to wood. I tried the graphite paper, I really don't care too much for that, and I also tried the wood burning. I didn't like how it turned out I am into jewelry making, and I want to make wooden earrings using wood. I was looking for other alternatives to transfer a image on to wood. I am so glad I came across your channel. My questions are what type of wood would you prefer, and is better to use parchment paper instead of paper so it doesn't leave white residue or it doesn't matter❓, and when I have my image printed laser should I have the image rotated left sided❓

What kind of countersink bits do you use in this video?

I'll make a smaller version of this for my Delta 36-720 table saw.

When finishing, put painters tape over your T slots to avoid any overage of whatever finish you choose

Looking forward to building this. What kind of plywood would you recommend? A co-worker recommended Baltic Birch, but I wonder if that's overkill. Thanks!

Love your work, appreciate your plans. Need to build a number of pieces for the workshop, including an assembly table/outfeed table, with storage drawers. Question re the old, “too small” assembly table, the one with all the dog holes: Was it built or bought? What kind of wood is it? Where did it come from? Did it come with all those dog holes? Can you tell us anything else about it? And what about the frame? Thanks again.

Disregard question about the old, “too small” assembly table. Found it on Rockler website.

You used some blue (Kreg?) angles when squaring the sides of the cabinet - what are those please? I looked on your tool list but don’t see them.

I noticed that you're using a cordless Milwaukee brad nailer in this project. What model are you using? Is it lithium ion or fuel cell and do you like it. I noticed in some of your other projects/lists you specify Rigid cordless nail guns. What do you prefer and why?

For your other assembly table, have you considered one that has adjustable height?

Nice project. Thanks. I need to build one myself. At 4:30, if you put the glue on the legs and not the frame, a mess would not be made. 10:00, any reason you were routing the non-typical direction? Thanks, again. Nice work.

I have a Yost M9WW vice attached to my bench. Sucker ways 30 lbs. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to modify this work table/bench to hold my vice? It is really time for me to rebuild my bench and this looks pretty good.

Those 'over 40' issues you're experiencing? They get better when you start having 'over 50' issues. Great build for sure. I used 1/2 inch MDF for the top of my workbench but had a matching sheet of 1/2 inch plywood underneath to help prevent sagging. I also probably over-engineered the workbench, but that's what we do, right? I also look forward to the video where you call them 'me' nails. Nice use of scraps.
