Great video. We rotate our cattle thru 8 paddocks, but vary the time in each according to the season and forage available. Looking forward to you moving here to Tennessee, we'll have to hook up sometime

Question, I have a lot of heavy muddy clay right now. I don’t now if I should put the cattle on this area making it very pugging and compact. Should I wait to dry a little then put the cows in that area for a little time to another area? Thanks you for your help.

Well, it is hard for me to give you a straight forward answer on this without understanding you entire holistic context. Our goal is to have the animals at the right place, at the right time, with the right behavior for the right reasons. So you need to ask yourself the following questions: - Why do I want the cows there - when do I want them there - for what reason do I want them there - what will their behavior on that place at that time do to the land Since you know your land the most, you should be able to come up with the best answers to those questions...

If the area is currently wet and waterlogged then I would keep your cattle off of it as they will tear up the ground. If it is an area that is only wet sometimes the try to put them there only when it is dry.

It is different for each model of incubator amd type of eggs. Your incubator should come with specific instructions for that model.
