I have a craftsman mower that was smoking I watched your video's and Taryls videos and it was the head gasket. I fixed mine last year and the longest part of the job was cleaning the old gasket material off. Thank you for sharing the information

Had a kohler courage valve cover always leaking. Finally stopped it with new gasket, the 5th one, aviation grade permatex sealer and cleaning all the bolt holes with parts cleaner and installed bolt with a drop of loftier. No more bolts vibrating lose a it's been 4 years since then. Before it was a yearly thing. Messy but works.

I had a similar problem with a Kohler Pro V twin, they use an oil breather on one of the valve covers. There's a grommet that holds the breather in place. It kept falling out. I removed the valve cover cleaned it with carburetor cleaner and used gorilla glue to hold the grommet in place, I waited about 20 hours before putting cover back on. One note, gorilla glue says it's supposed to have weight, or pressure on the parts to work best I used a threaded rod on the inside I used a small hose clamp so it wouldn't touch the grommet and 2 big washers to hold the grommet in place. It worked great. It did take a while for all the oil to burn off. I wish I had made a video but felt like it would've been very boring

The 12.5 horsepower engine went bad, ( wore out) . Just go to KZread videos by bert grau and take a look at my last video. I have a few, but I didn't do a good job of recording.

Hi steve, What would make an Intec b&s pop when running and when you put a load on it the poping stops? Adjusted the valves 3 times still the same. I would like any help you can give. thanks in advance steve.

There are a few things that you should check. First confirm that you have the correct specs for the valves in your engine. I would then do a compression check to confirm your head gasket hasn’t blown.
