Hey bald eagle..those switches are made so cheap ..ive changed so many of them.. it's got to the point to where i check the switch first..if the owner washes his tractor and gets the switch wet that will cause a problem..there is a right way to clean a tractor..thanks for this video.. I agree, these switches are junk. There’s not much to them internally. I have started keeping some on the shelf because I’ve had two with bad switches already this year. I kinda figure it was the switch as soon as I realized nothing was energized with the key on.

good advice , thanks . i'd check blue fuse again , after trying to start . i've heard people say you can't use jumper cables , and even need to disconnect battery before using a battery charger on mowers that have an ecm . your opinion please .

Jump pack are a killer for the ECM. I’ve never had an issue with a 2-20 amp battery charger. I’m pretty sure I blew the fuse when I picked this mower up. I jumped the starter just to make sure the engine cranked over. You can tell in the video I was surprised to find the fuse blown because the fuses were all good when I picked this mower up at the sellers house. I hope to see you around on future videos.

Sounds like bad connection, fuse or possibly the key switch.
