I keep my Van very clean and tidy as well. I cannot handle clutter so everything has a place. I leave my Back Seat up, got the idea from you. I love it to sit in at night after dark and Journal and watch Netflix.

It's fun watching how you do small and inexpensive things to make your van life more enjoyable for you and Wynston.

Yes! Simple and on a budget! Van life doesn't have to be complicated or expensive.

The bed you have for Wynston on the passenger seat; you should flip it around as the backside is higher, and if you ever hit your breaks real hard, he will have the extra height of the soft bed when he goes flying forward.

Ok thats actually a GREAT idea putting wires in a cd case

I’m looking to get a minivan for my commute to work. Full time van life is something I’d like to do but isn’t practical for me at this point. But I commute to a job, I drive school bus. So I have a lot of time on my hands during the day between runs. I have all the basics, apicool refrigerator, a 700 blue etti, 500 jackry a heavy duty camping cot. I even have a nice dvd/tv combo player that is totally awesome. What I don’t have is the minivan. For just commuting I wouldn’t need much else. Toileting wouldn’t be necessary to start with. Something seems odd to think about going potty in the transportation parking lot. I love your setup.

Love the set up.. can’t wait to see the pros and cons of keeping/ removing seats

Great build. One winter, I did a no-build build in a Chrysler Town and Country minivan, which is the exact same van, but with more luxuries. I’m impressed with how tight and tidy you have everything. One warning, though, and I’m getting a bad intuition about it: Put that extra rear gallon of water, which is next to your electrical system, if possible in your collapsible bucket. Water and electricity are a bad mix.

A friend of mine has a minivan similar to yours and they've got those stretchable screens that go over the driver and passenger side doors and they discovered that the stuff is so stretchy it will actually stretch over the outside mirror so the screen will go all the way down over the window and not leave any gaps

I only roll my windows down 4 inches at most for safety purposes. So there isn't a gap.

I have a 2019 Caravan and even though I don't travel a lot, yet, I feel surrounded by too much stuff. Will definitely incorporate your layout in the future. I just don't have the rails for the rooftop box, but I am considering a swingaway hitch for a box.

They are secured with bungees and Velcro. I have a collapsible trash bin that I spray with rodent repellent.

Love your channel. I have a chihuahua too. He is 12 years old and loves sitting on my lap and in my bed. He's a mommy's boy. I have had other dogs in my life, which I loved very much, but he has been by far the most loving and can't get enough of mommy dog i have ever had..

Yeh....hunting is still a thing here in America. I enjoy it myself. Great that we have so much public land that outdoor sports are still a part of sportsman's lives. Especially since its the hunters, and the Wildlife Resource personnel, working in cooperation, who are true conservationists.

Love love your setup. For safety reasons, please try not to use sooo much fabric in rv, car or van, cuz of fire. Another thing is to cover your bed foam with a bed bug covering zipped tight. Mites and bed bugs love to feast on you. Lol great video, girl and your doggie is sooooo adorable.

Great to see an updated tour. Always fun to watch and see something and remember, "Oh, yeah. Amanda is where I got that idea." One question - do you remember where you got those 3 gallon square water jugs? They are not on your list and I cannot find them anywhere. But they are exactly what I want for a spare drinking water jug. The square footprint is much better for efficient space utilization.

I’m currently considering van life. I wish I had known it was possible- I also had a chihuahua, he was a rescue, he was with me on the road through homelessness and everything. We lived in a 2005 Ford Focus hatchback, but if only I had known about Vanlife. Rue was with me from the hatchback all the way to my 4 BR house, and he’s buried here 😭 seeing Winston reminds me of him. Treasure each day, they are such a gift.

Probably the best of your conversations. Have you concidered one of those Tailgate tents?

My floor is simply foam and a rug.

I enjoyed the updated van tour! I love cheap, easy and from Amazon!! My Rav4 car camper and I are on a road trip to northern BC, along with my dog, Freddie and cat, Gracie. Having so much fun! Go vanlife!

Hey Amanda, great set up and tour. Just curious, what happened to the other Dodge GC? I’ve been thinking about doing a similar build in a Toyota Sienna, I like the simplicity of your build and the fact that the bed is lower to the floor.
