I really love seeing more “simple”/“minimalist” islands, all the clutter is really fun but this is also so good. Same goes for the normcore and no terraforming islands, they are just actual playable islands and so lovely! We don’t have to make every single thing extremely detailed and complicated. 😊 Love to see more of this!

I really like minimalism, although I would normally do a lot more clutter because... I just love it! I play The Sims 4 on console, so I cant freely rotate or size up/down objects. As such, it's a little hard to make clutter look "real" when I build. I love building.

yeah my first island was pretty cluttered with barely any grass and i realised in winter it was almost impossible to build a snowman so my second island was a no terraforming minimal island to make it playable all year round :^)

I love islands like this, especially because there's zero to no lag! keeping your island lag free but also beautiful can be hard sometimes, but this island is perfectttt!! def taking inspo :)

this island just inspired me to restart my island. i think simple, minimalistic builds like this suit my play style a LOT more than my previous island aesthetic.

Honestly ice seen where people put in hundreds of hours into such complex islands praised by the masses but to me simple island designs are the most elegant and most pleasing to look at

I love this island, but it’s so sad that they don’t have their dream address anymore!

I know I'm months late but as I stumbled onto this video, this instantly made me restart my very own island and do a theme like this. Seeing this heavily inspired me to start a simple, minimalistic yet natural looking island. Ever since I've gotten New Horizon, I was always picky and uncertain which island theme to do and would just end up abandoning the game but now I'm so inspired by this theme I'm excited to try it out too!

love seeing these islands, it's always a good reminder to myself that i dont need to fill every space with a pattern or object! thanks kyuubi :)

ive started watching more normal island tours. i used to feel inspired watching complex island tours, but now i just feel overwhelmed and bad about my own island when i watch them. i try to watch more of these now, as a reminder that every island doesn’t have to be crazy detailed or articulate.

I’m so glad I saw this before my island was too far gone, but I was planning to use all sorts of terraforming and try to make it cool like the fancy islands I see on KZread, but this is so much better. Also a lot more playable rather than just for looks. Thank you for sharing 🙏🏼

for the longest time i never knew how I wanted my island to look like, mine was always unfinished. until I found this video and ever since the game has been so calming to me. collecting natural diys and finding a simple colour palette overall eg: white and yellow flowers. using this colour palette will help pick which items to use. collect lots of different bushes as they all look different in each season, mushrooms, acorns, seashells, rocks clay and just dot them around your island. plant flowers on the beach but pick the buds off so they have a new look.. keep your designs simple and things will flow. especially when you use water to separate your island. 🤍 my island feels like a retreat or a natural camping site without all the clutter. even though I really do love love love clutter islands with bright colours.. i can not make mine look cute at all. however, im so pleased with mine now 🤍

This is so refreshing. I always appreciate effort that goes into more complex towns, but every time I visit one that’s too cluttered to the point where I’m having to maneuver around everything, lag, etc I feel claustrophobic and overwhelmed. This is so pleasing to the eye and proves that less is more and would make me want to keep coming back to play❤️

I love how basic it is yet I can tell loads of work went into it! My island looks rubbish lol at moment I'm just building bells up and trying to replace my flowers with one blue roses lol long project but fun!

Really enjoying seeing these minimalist islands! The cluttered ones can often be charming and magical, but they're difficult to get around and cause a lot of juddering that I don't want on my island. Now I'm trying to figure out how to do my island like this creator has done. I share the island with my husband and we both love minimalist style in real life, and want our island to reflect the same. One request, though: please learn to present these videos without the singsong tone of voice. You probably don't hear it because you're used to it, but if you close your eyes and just listen, you'll hear how your inflections constantly yo-yo in a singsong way, which gets really annoying by the end. I really want to hear what you have to say about these beautiful islands, but after a bit I have to mute the sound because it's just too grating. Otherwise these videos are great!

plant them as saplings and when they get the size you want, plant fruit behind them :) the planted fruit will sprout up like normal but stunt the growth of the tree
