As a swede it’s always amusing to see how people use the Maypole. It’s a pole which my people gather at to dance around during Midsummer’s eve. So it’s so cute to see people being kind of cluelessly creative about it and decorating with them as they please. It’s pretty much the equivalent of someone using a christmas tree as a house plant hahhaha I love it

It's been used in the uk by the romans... pretty old, if not older, tradition here.

Treasure islands for the 2.0 update items and bam easy. That’s what I’m doing now I’ve never used one before yesterday but I restarted again for the a millionth time. I never get anywhere though because I can’t decorate because I don’t have the diy to craft an item or the item itself. So I choose a elegantcore theme and I’ve been going to treasure islands and getting diys and items like storefronts and plants and stuff like that. I’m choosing not to get money or nook miles from the islands so that I can actually enjoy the game by earning those myself, but waiting however long for a diy or a item to come in the shop and buying it but only being able to get one if it’s one of the bigger items, or only being able to buy a max of 5 to get mailed to you the next day. I’m also not choosing to time travel but that’s all just me. Literally forget waiting or nookazon , treasure islands are the way to go.

I'm struggling with making my island feel big it feels so tiny

I love the idea of different themes on an island, I think that if you like more themes this is a wonderful idea to avoid burnout or boredom. I'm trying to do a similar thing on my island (not this cool sadly) with a more farm core part and a city core part, I just find that I can use more items and it is so fun to build🤩

Literally what I hate about this game like come on Nintendo you have to be that greedy that you want people to buy a new game and switch just to have another island. Like come one even just 2 islands I would be happy with but just one come on that’s crazy. Especially if you like themes that aren’t going to flow right together on one island. Like yeah citycore with a farm easy to blend because it’s a more rleastic thing you can make it flow easy, or forest core/cottage core with like anything. Like right now I’m doing an elegantcore and a farm/small town. Like a Spanish villa type vibe. I’m also interested in a kidcore island or a jungle core island or horror like they can’t blend that well with out the transitions looking a little awkward. And getting to a good point where you love your island but then having to restart to try to make another island is just crazy I couldn’t once I get to an actual place I’m happy with which will be forever from now I’m not going to have the guts to restart it.

This creator needs to calm down and share a grain of their talent. Great video Shannon!

there was a little house on the far right with some tanks behind which we didnt see fully so i am going to have a look myselff, and probably get equally completely lost! I love the arches in front of the waterfalls! As well as the little log stool circle around the mini veg patch. That was so cute.

I adore this island! it is so precious. seeing all these really lovely and creative islands makes me dislike my island more. i wish i was this creative

Ok, so I've been away from AC for a couple of months or so.. crappy things going on in real life have totally sapped me of any joy atm but this island has made me smile so much, and I can't tell you how much I needed that smile.. Shannon, your tour of here was fabulous, I'm about to watch it again as I just can't take the talent all in on the first viewing. I'll then be firing up my switch to hopefully visit it myself.. I hope it's still an active DA. Thank you, for making me smile today, this island is absolutely stunning..

it’s the room sketch app! you unlock it from the HHP dlc and can create tiny rooms from the app to use on vacation homes :)
