Actually the names of the villagers are different in other languages, at least in Germany . For example isabell is called Melinda here I’m just realizing that the names in the bottom left corner were the German names

In Spanish Isabelle is called Canela, which I find very cute because it literally means "Cinnamon" If I'm not mistaken, her name in Spanish is Canela because of the latin word "Canis lupus familiaris" which mean dog, so Can...ela :) Also Digby's name is Candrés

Den einzigen Namen den ich im deutschen nicht komisch finde ist Euphemia 😅 Ich meine Hanne? Oder Heinz? Und was zT schleppt Schlepp? Warum heißt ein Hund Bienchen? Und Apple nicht Apfel? Ohs? Und Johannes, der in fast jeder anderen Sprache Pascal heißt? Pullunda anstatt Ketchup? Chang? Griescha, der in vielen anderen Sprachen Klaus heißt? Huschke als Marshal? Knuspi?? XD Ich finds irgendwie schade dass bei den meisten Namen entweder ein altdeutscher Name genommen wurde der heutzutage nicht mehr passt oder bei einen "Namenswitz" nicht mitgemacht wurde (wie zB Rudolf, der wegen dem Blitzsymbol auf seinem Kopf in vielen Sprachen einen Namen hat der mit Elektrizität zu tun hat)

Ok I know she's not a villager but I love Celeste. Everytime she would come to my or my friends' islands I would always get so excited to see her and just stargaze around the island with her. She‘s one of the few who didn’t get a weird name in german. I love her name, Eufemia. Not like Sally who got turned into Hanne, or my favorite Goldy who they named Bienchen (small bee). Not to forget Nepp & Schlepp. Nepp is a nonsense word and schleppen is slang for "carrying". Imagine him with the name Schlepping or Dragging 🤣 (…omg Schleppin’ and Nappin‘ would be lowkey fire tho 👀✨) Lol but honestly Feline is a more normal name than that… xD

Dear Charlie let me tell you a story about Lolly the cat. You see during your Doc hunt stream you said that you would be getting a PO box and excepting fan mail. So in preparation for that I wanted to crochet plushes of all the Quinoa villagers. The first one was Lolly. It ended up turning out great! So great infect I wanted to show it off to my friends at work. So on my brake I went to my car to pick up the Lolly plush only to find A REAL CAT! He was the friendliest cat I've ever met, Showed him around to everyone like, "Hey look at this friendly cat I found!" I ended up adopting the cat naming him 'Lolly' because I felt I just had to. ( He also looks just like Lolly the villager!) So Charlie in short because of you I ended up getting a forever feline best friend . Wish KZread would let me send pictures .🐈😻 PLEASE READ THIS CHARLIE! THIS IS A HAPPY STORY i REALLY WANT TO SHAIR WITH YOU BECUASE IT'LL MAKE YOU SMILE. 🙏

Hey Charlie! I've been loving watching your Animal Crossing series as I start my own island for the first time! You've taught me a bunch of things. :) After watching your villager hunt video (one of the many) I decided to choose which villagers I wanted and the first island I visited had my favorite villager, Sherb! He is just such a little cutie!

My favorite villager of all time is probably Pietro! He’s just very colorful and fun and brings me joy. He can also fit kidcore AND horror themes, which I appreciate. I just love the little dude.

It’s REALLY hard to choose a favorite but Erik is definitely a dreamy of mine! 🦌❄️

It's so difficult to pick just one favourite villager because they're all so endearing in their own way Anyways if I have to list just one, I love Beau! To me, he just perfectly encapsulates the vibe of a lazy villager, the look is as you'd expect for one and you can't get more lazy than his home interior just being a picnic spot

My all time favorite villager is Molly!! In the German version her name is Monika, like my mum, and they are similar in personality and I enjoy having her on the island! Also, Nepp & Schlepp are the German names for Timmy & Tommy. Some of the German names are THE WORST, Charlie. I swear… I have no idea why they did not just keep the English names… Anyways, I’m so happy that you found Melba 😍 I actually would love to have her on my island too, but haven’t found her yet. Just want to tell u a bit about Kapp'n and his small family If you go on Kapp'n's boat ride you will know he sings a song, his songs are always about his wife, kid or his life (i think sometimes about his mum aswell). Kapp'n has a wife named Leilani, a little girl called Leila and a mum called Grams! And since you can get all their amibo cards you can invite all of them to brewsters coffee shop to meet them all! Or any other place you can invite amibos These characters appear in new leaf and can sometimes be seen a bit in ACNH! If you search these characters up you could probably find some cool facts about them, learn about them and learn more about how they appear in ACNL but i can't be bothered to rn😞

One of my favorite characters is Kid Cat...he was one of the first villagers that I got when I first started my island and he has stuck around all this time. And when I start new islands he comes back.
