which files? if it's the .bin files here's an alternate link to them: www.reddit.com/user/ibraibra66/comments/pe7ynv/amiibo_bin_drive_v2/? however i'm afraid that the only link to the retail file is the one i included in my description. let me know if this helps! also make sure that if you're downloading them on your phone, you need to save them in FILES. the option will appear when you click download.

It will work with any switch wether it's og lite or oled and it should also work with wii u and devices in the 3ds family of consoles

unfortunately ipads don’t have the hardware to scan NFC’s 😭 you can download the app Amiiboss but that’s basically it, you can’t really do anything with it as far as i know 😢

i've been doing this since the release of the version 1 switch and have not been banned! the information in the nfc cards are already in the game so i think it'd be pretty hard for them to trace who's using an unofficial amiibo card. but you can do the research if you're still hesitant to try this out!

you don't sound dumb at all! what i did was just send or download the .bin files on my phone and you can find them in your Files app and just look for it when you're in the Amiiboss app. did that help?

hmm the only times that has happened with me was when i didn't write the .bin files on the card and the switch can't read it because it's empty. have you tried other villagers/characters? also sometimes you need to position the card/coin in a specific way so the switch can read it, even with official amiibo cards.

yes, iphone 11 can scan NFC tags and the Amiiboss app is still compatible with your phone! hope this helps

you’re not a noob! making amiibo cards is mainly so you can get your favorite villager into your island without having to villager hunt or rely on RNG. you can make amiibo cards for other purposes as well on games aside from animal crossing, for extra items or characters!

i currently don't have an android phone but the steps are very similar, you just need to download a different app that's available in the play store. the files needed are the same with ios!

i think so? i haven't tried it personally but the tags are all NTAG215 so i'm assuming it will work for the 3ds. not sure about the series 5 cards though because they were released on the switch. hope it works for you!
