Good choice the pizza is basically a piece of bread with few bits of cheese and meat or whatever

I’ve made some extra spice mix n stored dem fr later.. didn’t use garlic powder but fresh garlic grated.. n those who try cn slide in a few pieces of butter under d skin which will help keep d chicken extra moist n juicy..

My husband said it tastes like good rotisserie chicken, my family loved it , And it was easy to make .Very good recipe .Thank you!

I made this chicken about a week ago and was asked to make it again for THANKSGIVING (today!) I'm making TWO, they were sooooo good. I used potatoes and onions on the bottom which were a great side after getting rid of most of the drippings. Awesome recipe!! The rub is total perfection!

Same to you! BTW, both were a big hit. We had turkey and ham but the chickens were torn apart by everyone! Thanks for that awesome spice mix. Also, I let it marinate for about an hour, makes it tasty!

Hello, Thanks for the recipe!!! I made this tonight. I have a turn knob type of ovem so I used a temperature of 375 degrees Fahrenheit for an hour and 35 min. This was for a chicken that's 3 48 lbs. The breast meat turned out very dry and some parts of the drumstick were a little dry. Overall, the texture was very good for the first time. Next time I will cook for an hour and 25 minutes. The bird was pastured raised which means it had less fat. I forgot that these birds require less cooking time. Also, I doubled all the dry rub ingredients which helped me have more than enough to rub all over the bird. I didn't have the same vegetables so I substituted the Trader Joes multicolored carrots. Those turned out excellent. I used the carrots to elevate the bird so that it would cook evenly. I'm proud of myself. I'm finally growing up and learning to cook. Lol!
