If you dont wanna do it layer by layer you can use kelp, if you place it in the running water and break it, it turns all the flowing blocks into source blocks

Thank you JC! An awesome video as always. For all that don't know, There is an easier way to fill a large space with water source blocks. Once you've built your 7x7 or whatever size space, place a full flat layer of temporary blocks one below where the water top will be. Then fill your top square by placing source along two sides. Then break your layer of temporary blocks. This will fill the entire container with source water. You can make large man-made lakes and rivers this way! I discovered this by accident back in 2018 and am amazed no one shows it on YT!

@@Kelper30000 it’s been a few weeks since I’ve played so it’s possible there’s been updates to change the way the game functions. But if you follow this video to a T, make sure you have the right amount of blocks, fill in all the water source blocks etc. it should work It does take some time to get decent catches if you have a regular fishing pole, usually by 10-15 min of straight casting you can catch enchanted poles to make things easier. I would say if you haven’t caught anything enchanted after 100 or so casts then there’s either a flaw in the build or it’s been patched

I love how when he goes in survival and does the stuff instead of just spawning it in so that the viewers know how to do it.

Hold down right click and then press F3 and T at the same time (make sure Pause on Lost Focus is disabled by pressing F3 + P if you wanna be able to tab out and do other things). This will loop your right click input effectively creating an auto clicker.

When I made it on PS4, it worked perfectly. Then I switched to playing on Windows/PC but it kept burning everything I caught. To fix it, I just took out the lava and blocked off areas around the hopper so it will directly fall in. Thanks sm for the clean and easy tutorial!

u can get mending books alot quicker if u use villager trading with a raid farm thats how i got all my gear to be mending( if u cant get a raid farm set up u can make a gold farm and trade the rotten flesh and gold with clerics for emeralds)

@@DNakhal I think it is safe to assume that most, if not all people that look up this stuff already knows how to build a staircase, I am just saying that some stuff are unnecessary.

Working great! Only thing I added was I enclosed the area where you stand. Was fishing at night and got stuck with a trident knocking me down. More of an inconvenience but easy to remedy. Thanks for an other great build!

@@nikkel4537 even in a frozen biome you can break the ice and make a fishing dock my insulating from the ice and and getting some fish under the ice into it

2:19 If you place the water on the top, let it flood then plant kelp where you need water sources. Break the kelp it will leave behind water source blocks.. this is way faster then placing water everywhere if you have kelp. I use this when making Tall bubble elevators, one source up top, fill the hole with kelp, break kelp and done.

Seems like it would get more complicated when trying to fill in the center blocks. Though I don't remember if you can put a water source block on top of a water source block without having a solid block to place it on. Going row by row, like he does in the video, assures the whole thing is filled with ease.

@@rebelsclipsntricks Yup, you're right. Had to test it out though. At first the center block doesn't fill, but then once you fill in the kelp everywhere else it fixes itself. Plus you've got a little kelp farm as a bonus.

@@MrX-ny3jv you can completely remove the kelp aswell and wherever there was kelp will now be water sources regardless.
