Silktone Parallel 25 Watt Single Ended Class A Amplifier

Музыка

Introducing the Silktone Parallel, a groundbreaking 25 Watt Parallel Single Ended Tube Amp designed to elevate your guitar playing experience to new heights. While single-ended guitar amps have long been celebrated for their incredible tone, they've often been constrained by limited wattage, restricting their headroom, volume output, and overall presence.
Silktone Parallel: bit.ly/silktone
Traditionally, single-ended amps max out at around 5 to 12 watts, leaving guitarists yearning for more power without compromising on the signature sound they love. Enter the Silktone Parallel, transcending these limitations by offering the rich, harmonically complex tone of a single-ended KT66 amplifier, but with a remarkable 25 watts of power.
What sets the Silktone Parallel apart is its innovative parallel single-ended design. By harnessing the parallel configuration, we've managed to retain the purity and character of the single-ended amplifier while significantly boosting its power output and headroom. This means you can now enjoy the unmistakable warmth, clarity, and responsiveness of single-ended tube tone at volumes previously unattainable.
But the Silktone Parallel isn't just about raw power-it's about preserving the essence of your instrument's sound. Unlike push/pull amplifiers which can introduce unwanted crossover distortions and sacrifice harmonic richness, our parallel single-ended approach ensures that every note sings with pristine clarity and musicality.
Whether you're dialing in delicate cleans or pushing the amp into sweet overdrive, the Silktone Parallel delivers an unparalleled sonic experience that's both inspiring and versatile. From the studio to the stage, its enhanced headroom and expanded tonal range make it the perfect companion for discerning guitarists seeking uncompromising performance.
Crafted with meticulous attention to detail and utilizing premium components, the Silktone Parallel is built to exacting standards to ensure reliability, durability, and exceptional sound quality. Its timeless design, coupled with modern engineering, makes it a true standout in the world of boutique amplification.
Experience the next evolution of single-ended tube amplification with the Silktone Parallel. Elevate your tone, unleash your creativity, and discover new sonic possibilities with this game-changing amplifier.
All backing tracks written, performed, mixed & mastered by Ryan Plewacki unless otherwise noted.

That clean lead with the neck humbucker through the Echo-Fix into this amp took me to a happy place.

This is one of the first utoob demo videos where I could kind of hear some of the nuances of the amp. I am a total SE guy. PSE when needed, is a great thing. So picky am I, that I started building my own amps long ago. So I am pretty well clued-in as to how much time, work and expense goes into designing and building these amps. It becomes even more of challenge to try to start your own boutique factory to sell your ideas for others to enjoy. The retail cost of the amp has to take those things into account; not just the parts and materials + mark-up. Considering what all goes into making these amps, and all that they can do, their sticker price seems quite high, but it does appear to be an instance where you will get what you pay for. Too many products are charging lots of money for lots less than they are actually worth because people connect the name and the perceived reputation as being value. But when you look inside, it could be darn near junk. Now considering how much needs to go into this amp to do what it does, the builder is completely justified to charge his rate. Having the price that high might be a sign of prestige, or maybe they would like to be able to offer at a lower price point to make it available to more people, but it's just not feasible. I dunno. But I do see value equal to the price. Again, very nice demo.

This is the amp I've been waiting for. The _only_ complaint I have about my Silktone Amp is that it doesn't have enough watts.

I'm assuming the answer is "no", but does the Parallel have an effects loop? I couldn't find anything on the website, and an effects loop would normally be an advertised feature.

    it does not.

@@DemosInTheDark so here we go: the opening caveat is that the amp is expensive because it has non-typical design (yet Two Rock was far earlier to mass market with a parallel class A) ~ at a $4K price point an effects loop and biasing switch to allow different power tube types easily swapped would be an absolute must. also fine playing on intro. Just my 2 cents

@@WhiteOakAmps - Not aware of a big bottle PSE amp from them, which one is it? Also, effects loops are dumb in amps that lean on power tube distortion like this one does… aaalso, simply changing the bias point for different power tubes doesn’t work.. for the best sound out of a given type of tube careful tuning of load impedance must be accounted for. Stick to the tubes the amp was tuned for, the incomparable KT66. Just my 399,900 cents 🕺🏻
