Buy a house... Spend the rest on 10 new Strats, 10 LPs, a few Marshalls and Fenders
Impressed with this amp all around. Im a Gibson guy.. period...but that 59 strat with that amp was out of this world! Very Stevie Rayish!! Never get enough of your playing! Thank you*!
I have a Ceriatone Dumble-clone (with the Dumblator FX loop) and it's absolutely one of my favorite amps. And I've only ever heard great things about Amplified Nation's takes on the various Dumble versions.
beautiful tones.
i know it’s gonna be a good day when Matt Scott uploads. really dig that little “Amy” tease at the end. killer vid and tones matt! peace!🎸✨
Absolutely gorgeous tone!! The sustaine and bloom is off the charts. Thanks Mathew.
Great sustain/tight tones, I love that sound so much and you make it sing very nice.
Taylor Cox is like the rainman of dumbles…I mean that with the most respect!!!
Wow! That's some of the best tones right there, Matthew!! Totally inspirational!! Thanks for the share!!
That amp sounds amazing! I knew that Amplified Nation makes amazing amps but combined with your playing that was one of the best tones i've ever heard in my life!

wonderful tone!! Outstanding playing Matthew!
Just the first minute of you playing made my jaw drop! Bad ass sound and playing brother!
Wow, some gorgeous tones there Matthew, and fantastic playing as ever... Fascinating background too there, with the Dumbles... I'm listening back here, with my Mac Audio going thru my old Bose Panaray PA.... = Sweeeeet ☺🤗Man! Thanks so much for your efforts and talent young man... 🙏 Bobby 🐭
Matthew - you make any guitar / amp combo sound awesome… Thank you.
Great tones! Great playing!
WOW is right! Man that tone is to die for. And sweet playing there sir.
You do know that each Dumble was made for the artist who asked for one. Every choice in construction, combination of and spec of part(s), was specific to each build. There is no "Dumble", but the similarities can be attributed to the builder and his thought process to achieve the desired product.

Amazing walk through on the type of amp including an amazing history lesson. Much appreciated.
It never ceases to amaze me what an incredible player you are.
I could listen to that tone for a month of Sundays!! Incredible playing and tone. Thanks for sharing!!
One of the best sounds heard on the tube since a while. Great playing.
Great vid on the Dumble sound. Pretty cool that each amp was a little different. Very informative!!
A friend of mine techs for a gentleman who has two dumbles. He said (this is from his boss) that every single dumble was made custom for the buyer. I can't remember whether he said his boss was the original owner or not, but the detailed info he had on the process of getting a dumble back then makes me think so. He said the guy who ran dumble would invite you over to his shop (he used the word garage) and that based on your feedback from playing the initial base model amp he would modify it to your liking. He made a point of saying to me that even dumbles with the same model names on them don't necessarily sound the same to others. When I asked him how big of a difference we were talking he said "not small, not massive". I can't remember if he said this whole "custom tailored amp" thing was a realtime process like with a breadboard circuit in the guys garage or if he sent you off with the amp a few times until you said you were fully satisfied with it. Anyways, I'm not saying this is all factual, there could be some info that was lost in translation but I trust him and what he was saying.
The amp is cool and all but I seriously think Mathew is currently one of the best blues players currently alive
Holy grail tone AND playing! You're just bonkers, Matt, and I love it!
Wouw, This totally new for me, Thank you Matt for bringing this up, Sounded great with the Gibson with P90s.
Amazing tones and great playing, Wow fantastic! 🙂
Got an Overdrive Reverb on order as we speak😁 Taylor will be remembered as one of the greatest guitar amp builders. Thanks for the playing, and the discussion!

How do you figure? Dumble will be remembered. He built amp designs himself from the ground up. Dumble didn't take someone else's circuits, add a few things, and rename them like this guy.
@alexmoore5832

@@J.C... by no means am I discounting the genius of Alexander Dumble, but Taylor has a masters' understanding of what components at which stages create "the sound". If you watch a few more of his interviews and try one of his amps, I think you'll agree he's got something special.
@kodykindhart5644

That exactly how dumble got his start and his “sound” A lot of dumble designs are very similar to existing ones In reality he figured out a ss rectifying stage greatly increased the touch sensitivity and too away the “3d” sound of the fender amps he was working from You clearly don’t understand circuit design
@kodykindhart5644
4 ай бұрын
So basically dumble too the tube out of the rectifier stage and changed it for a solid state one Also used a really efficient speaker Like a jbl or ev12l
@kodykindhart5644
4 ай бұрын
Go play a nice new solid state amp like a quilter or old one like a Roland jc and feel how it reacts to your picking… how “instant “ the sound is across the frequency spectrum as well Tube amps with transformers need to get the ac power into dc type power and rectify this problem with the rectifier circuit Either tube or solid state type rectifier circuits exist Tube rectifier seem to have more “3d” sound and a little softer attack that “sags” a bit On really high wattage amps when cranked up you hear this as oomph or “chug” it basically overloads the circuit because the transformer and tube rectifier take time to get that voltage up to level With a solid state rectifier it happens faster Or some shit like that I only know enough to get me in trouble 🤣🤣
I bought an Ampliphonix and Gain from Taylor last month and it’s unbelievable. Unbelievably delicious sounding.
Lovely tone on that Fender, beautiful clean tone gilded with a little gnarly sparkle. Winning!!!
Sounds amazing, every note stings - you can feel it in your teeth. Awesome clarity for blues

ahh yes the Clon Centaur of Amps...
Great video. Outstanding playing.
That amp sounds amazing Matthew, love the sound of the older instruments/equipment. Taylor sure is full of knowledge.
Companies like Amplified Nation, Fuchs and Bludotone are doing such a fine job of capturing the Dumble tone that I wouldn't fuss about being able to afford a real Dumble. Also, they have fixed some of the flaws inherent in Dumbles. Now, if you are a tone afficionado, I would recommend trying to track down a Dumble just to try one. I got to try one at a shop in Newark forty years ago and was very impressed, but I didn't think it was the amp for me. Before that, I had never even heard of Dumbles, so I came to it with zero expectations. It was an Overdrive Special. Fine sounding amp.
WOW THAT IS SOME TONE. FANTASTIC.
Brings out some nice detail in your strat!😊
Hell yeah, great tone and great playing!
That head, and bassman cab combo, along with that strat, are absolute killer. I could listen to that for hours

Just love watching this guy play. Matthew, thanks for sharing 🎸🤠👍
Great sound!!
Outstanding episode.
Definitily "strat" is the sound....;) great video how ever
I can't imagine what it sounds like in person...but coming through the KZread sounds quite crystalline and the lows, mids, and highs ranges, sounds amazing....
fantastic playing and feel man
If you want to stay clean at higher volume, add more power tubes and bigger irons. Pre amp tubes/valves are wired as cathode followers in order to prevent guitar signal loss when passing through a tone stack. Back in the 70s Status Quo went high power transistor amps and nobody noticed any difference!
Nothing my Showman won't do.

Matthew, I think that every amp you plug in you always blow me away. great playing.... I still like the amps I am used to hearing, Fender, Marshalls, Hiwatt, Orange, Mesa Boogie, Ampeg, Vox...............
I have seen Robben Ford multiple times , sometimes he used his own and on a number of occasion a rental twin reverb , always sounded great !
Great video, thanks!
EQ with a MID hump bell>Compressor>Klon Klone or other transparent drive. That gets really close to a "Dumblesque" tone.
Your videos are so smooth.
I have a boutique OD special by Tyler Amps, a little 20w replica. I love it. It’s the only amp I play. Special sound, if I ever get lucky enough to play a real dumble I’d. Be stoked. Dumbles are fantastic sounds.
Wow, that is quite a sound. The sustain/controlled feedback is total magic. I like your playing, too. All these internet players that show how fast they can play the thing they've practiced for a year do nothing for me.

Love to see young people playing like this, and getting the same fascination with these tones, this kid is such a great player, he’s got it, he destroys the shredders in the first bar every time.
Wow i never knew i liked dumble amps til i heard what you playing at the beginning. Very nice playing might i add. Thank you for a great video.
Super smooth!
Sounds incredible
Lovely playing Matt.
I have a fake dumble, and it's miles my favourite amp I've ever used. The smoothest overdrive, and the most touch responsive amp ever. I can't imagine what the high quality boutiques sound like (none here where I live) and now you got me wanting to travel to see for myself!
I am liking this sound for you Matt!
I’ve played through 2 Dumbles ,I’ve heard these other Dumble clones, they are all unbelievable, out of this world, but for me,the fender super reverb with jbl speakers Matthew played on a previous KZread video, was for me the best amp I have ever heard, not counting some of those other big fender amps he has
Just listened to some of your album, your the real deal .WOW 😮.. excellent 🤘...will listen to it all later
OMG your playing is awesome brother!
Excellent in every way !
Sounded great to me. Can only imagine how good it sounds in the room live.
Really enjoyed hearing about this elusive amp.
Yep. Sounds great.

What ever you play threw sounds awesome

Nice I've wanted that for you since you tried the trem drive. That things awesome you sound killer man
Doesn't really matter what You play through. You still sound like You. And it's a sound we all want.
sick playing!
Great playing bro
You nailed the SRV sound in the first sound clip. I listened to everything I could get my hands on in the year or two before Stevie passed.
These absolutely suit you to a T. I remember watching a video of yours at Norman's (or Carter's?) where you mentioned (a saw a few) Two Rock amps and thinking that a TClean or something like this would be perfect for you. I even commented something like that, to which you replied "maybe one day" - and here we are. I love Taylor's work and there's a significant learning curve with this model but, depending on how you tackle it, it becomes incredibly fun. Hope to see more of this moving forward. Keep up the great work!
That is a nice sounding amp. I have heard Dumble but just can’t imagine paying such a price. I guess if I had money to throw away.
So nice to hear some kickass playing. A lot of KZreadr's do reviews and play the most boring navel gazing garbage. Well done.
I bought the Amplified Nation Overdrive Reverb 50 watt head, and it sounds great clean or overdriven.
Now that's tone!
killer tone !
