The Silktone Overdrive+ is and all original design that uses an OPAMP to boost your signal and JFET and clipping diodes. The JFETs are set up to emulate a tube stage. The boost is a unique dirty boost that pushes the JFET input stage into saturation and adds a ton of 2nd harmonic distortion. Needless to say, Silktone has created a new way to saturate.
