Silent Hill is a underrated film. The atmosphere was very close to the video game. Seeing Pyramid Head on screen for me was the most memorable moment.

Silent Hill is one of those horror movies where, although it doesn’t capture the game 100%, its still stands very well on its own. Definitely a classic that I revisit often. Great video guys.

Hi You know I wouldn't have to scream so loud if people were understanding. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Yeah except they switch it all off. So your emergency button won't even work. To "help rusty" Jesus Christ" no wonder why.

I worked on this film for over a year, some of the film was destroyed during devleopment and they had to re-shoot for 2 months, most of it was filmed in Hamilton at the lister block abandoned mall. very spooky place, most of the crew got sick, the mall was full of black mold, asbestos and rotting lead paint. extremely toxic and we shot in there for hours at a time. Local homeless teenagers would sleep in the upper floor, I kept telling them they are going to get sick but they kept coming back. I gave them pizza and left overs from the kraft table.

Do you have any stories you could share from your time working on the film/film set?

I came to know the movie Silent Hill through the history of Centralia, Pennsylvania. I am not a horror film fan but Silent Hill is one of a very few that has grabbed my interests. One thing about the filming was how did they do the constant fog when Rose was on the evil side of the town. When the detective took Rose's husband on a tour of the town, they were in a bright, sunny day. Very creepy.

Wow, wasn´t expecting this video! First, Rose Red, now Silent HIll, two of my favorite horror movies. You guys are awesome!

such a underrated film, im so glad the director of the 2006 film is coming back to direct the return to Silent Hill movie that is coming soon, it will be a adaption of Silent Hill 2. the 06 film was a love letter to the fans and is just a great adaption of the source material to the silver screen, they even replicated camera movement from the games which was a nice touch.

I played the original Silent Hill video game when it came out on PlayStation in 1999. Really, Really,..... REALLY loved that game. The movie was spectacular and totally creepy as well, but the video game was off the hook for its time and holds a place in my heart as one of the creepiest video games ever made. Thanks for the tour guys!

I was always amazed by the performance of the nurses, the choreography. They had to learn their routine then learn it blindfolded.

I lived my teenage years in Brantford (I've now been in Toronto for 30 years) and it's heartbreaking to see how much of downtown B'ford has changed. In case any hockey fans are wondering why Brantford sounds so familiar, it's Wayne Gretzky's hometown.

The 3 original Silent Hill games will forever and always be masterpieces in psychological horror ever created and the movies with Radha Mitchell and Sean Bean were in my opinion great acting by these two individuals and awesome adaptations of the games, not perfectly accurate to the games, but still amazing in their own right.

When you ever find yourselves out on the West Coast there are tons of horror movie locations, 1990's "It" tv mini-series would be a good one to start with. The 1980 Canadian horror cult classic "The Changeling" starring George C. Scott was mostly filmed around Vancouver and Victoria standing in for New York and Seattle.

I know a lot of people were disappointed that the movie didn’t lineup with the game 💯. But I think that it did really well to capture the essence of the game and it’s one of my favorite horror movies. I really appreciate all of the research and time you both take into these videos. They’re very informative. I also appreciate you taking a moment to tell those who are having a hard time that there is always someone to talk to. That was such a sad and somber place and I had no idea that was there but it’s good to be aware of it and talk about mental health.

I always assumed the church was a fae facade too. I know the church in Centralia have inspiration for the church in the film. I like how you showed behind the scenes video I never saw before. That's cool how the built steps in a studio.

Silent Hill is a great game & the movie does a solid job too. I love movie location videos because it always gives you a more in-depth look of what they achieved! Always so cool.

Just finished watching ‘Silent Hill’. That’s new for me, seeing the filming locations first, then watching the movie. Bit of a different perspective.

Yea Hamilton! I told you there was filming locations here!!! Great to see this stuff! When we were younger we would climb over the guardrail and onto the waterfall. Also you guys JUST missed Supercrawl. A big multi day festival on James St, along where the Lister Block (Grand Hotel) is located. You guys would’ve enjoyed that as well!

Thanks for helping me. And giving me back some subscriptions. If people don't understand I hope they never have to live it on daily basis. There's always other options. It may not be as easy as it for you just to use my phone it has to go thru all this crap or the volume. I don't know I can't fix it myself. So that's why I never truly know or trust. Because I'm almost positive it's my friends I'm Korea that playing With out the computer with me. It's my girls. But I really not positive. It also may be that my phone is a promiscuous individual. Not a slut so but pretty dang close.

These are actually all in Hamilton Devils Punchbowl, The Lister Block and The Grand Masonic Lodge are all filming locations in this movie if you're ever down this way 😊

Silent Hill is one of the good horror movies 🍿 to me. I had the privilege and pleasure of meeting Jodelle Ferland (Alyssa) 2 years ago at Frightmare Horror Con in Dallas 21. She very down to earth and very soft spoken woman. She played one of the best roles in that movie at a very young age at the time.

That was awesome had no idea that most everything was still standing.

Besides the Shinning, Silent Hill is another fav. I've watched a few times. Agree, the sirens get me everytime! Great job on this you two!! 👌✨️

There is always that story about Centralia, Pennsylvania being the original inspiration for Silent Hill!

Silent hill was one of the two first DVDs I bought back in 2006 when I moved out on my own. The other was the shining. Now I have hundreds of DVDs and Blu-ray. I need to get this movie off the shelf. I haven't watched it in years.
