Your gonna have more classes for 500 soon right ? My process has been cool and been getting assistance from LOVE ADVICE TV which is great as well . But you sound more leaning towards being honest then some psychology. I've improved drastically and ex is still angry and bitter and being really chill

Before you guys consider what your ex is feeling, look into whether your ex was an overt, or covert, narcissistic personality. Some times their post break up actions might be hoovering, or trying to triangulate you against a new person (rebound) in their life. If your ex is indeed a narcissit, your reunion WILL be worse. I entered no contact not get my ex back. I'm doing it because I value my happiness, and desire a non dramatic lifestyle. Once you recognize a narc, it's all just a big game to them that wants only your reactions, whether it be a happy or negative one.

My ex reached out to me today. After 6 month's while being in a rebound relationship. She asked how have I been doing, letting me know she is trying to stay positive, and admitting that she is not emotionally over the past. She said thank for the many beautiful moments we had and for being a great man for listening ect.. I honestly did not know what to say, i did not reply till the next day. I ended up just giving her advice because I do not know anymore if I want to try and bother working things out anymore. I ended it with do not be hard on yourself things happen unfortunately that I forgave her that no one is perfect. Btw it did not end due to an affair from either one just alot of unfortunate situations routine ect..that overwhelmed the relationship making her fall out of love and wanting to move on.

I know you have posted this video soooo long ago, but I have to thank you for everything. Watching your videos helped me immensely on the road of getting my ex back. Following your teaching of focusing on emotional connection and never give up & lose hope were the best advice I have ever gotten. Just today, my ex told me on the phone that she is still in love with me and she is willing to see how things go between us once she goes into college and become independent of her parents. Thank you. Without you, I would have never ever gotten to this moment.

I believe that.13 years together and a month after she was talking to someone already.6 months later that rebound ended and now she's in her 2nd rebound going 6 months cause we been separated a tad over a year now.I'm about to serve her which she knows about but there's still a part of me that doesn't want the divorce.But I'm the dumper so she's trying to cope,move on etc.But I know she's not entirely over me yet but yeah sometimes it feels like it but her acting just may be convincing?! lol

Who knows?). 5. Undergone a dramatic personality or behavior change after the breakup. Breakups happen because someone is trying to make a better life for themselves, as current life isn't working in some capacity. Rearranging external factors to try to change internal stuff without intentional work.

Hey Clay! Love your videos man. My ex broke up with me early this year and after 2 months of no contact we started hanging out again. We had a really good time together twice, and after the second time I told her I had a really good time with her and she agreed, but then said it was a good distraction from her life. Hello clay. I been listening to your shows. And sometimes I’m confused. My ex broke it off after two plus years. I messed up. And woke up and regret not taking care of us or things better, she has been seeing someone but still talks with me.

Hey Clay I have a bit of a tricky situation and I could use some advice! My ex and I have been broken up for 5 months, and we have stayed friends. It was their idea to stay friends and they have continued to reach out to me for many months and shown care and interest, at least in regards to being friends. Recently, they have drastically pulled away, and I sent a message a few days ago to express how I felt, to let them know their behavior has been kinda hot and cold, how I miss our friendship and want to hang out, and It was super positive and non-threatening. And they responded by completely pushing me away... saying they don't care about me, don't miss our friendship, that they just stayed friends for me... etc. That doesn't align with how they've been behaving since the breakup (with the exception of the past couple weeks). What could be the cause of this? Thanks for any help you can give :)

Hi Mark, If there's zero progress after 3 to 6 months (from the time you have started working on Active No Contact and initiated contact with your ex), that is when you can decide to reorganize your priorities. We really cannot say though the exact timeframe of when there's no chance of getting back together. Because it depends on different factors, like one's values, the reason for the breakup and how the past relationship made an impact on them as a person.

I also know my mother-in law hates me and says a-lot of negitive things about me . I'm making the right cjanges and tryimg to better myself through this extremely emotional time . She broke up via Whatsapp und after that she did not react to my texts. After she texted me the breakup text, she deinstalled her Whatsapp. I texted her, that I respect her decision via SMS and said, that breaking the contact is not good. (she told me in the breakup text that I don´t want friendship, because one year ago, she broke up with me the first time and I told her, I cannot be friend with her, to get her back, what rlly worked, now she said from herself that I do not want friendship anyway). Hi Clay, I'm stuck.... My ex seems to hate me and I'm still blocked on everything. I can't work on positive emotions because she's completely closed off to me. @@ClayAndrews I think Im just gonna reach out next weak with an innocent question that I sincerely want to know. She always made me a certain dish on special occasions so I would actually like to have the receipt of that. Also it would be a subtle reminder of all those dinners we had were she made it, usually we spend over an hour in the kitchen cooking together. I think I can still communicate fairly well with her on a superficial level, but emotional I dont know. It felt weird going to deep into emotions on that first contact after no contact.

We understand that it could be painful to know that she seemed to keep your interactions from the rest and maybe she is not that emotionally ready yet to let everyone know about your status. I am not sure what is her dynamics with her family but you have to put yourself in her shoes as well in that way you would understand where she is coming from. All the best.

Clay, i was wondering if you could give me some advice. My ex and i broke up back in december 2019. I tried doing stupid stuff to get him back. At first i thought he was over me, but on sunday when i went to get my stuff back from his place because we were originally ready to move in together when he dumped me. I noticed when i was going through his house to make sure i did not leave anything behind, i saw he had that photo of us kissing in his room on his dresser, and a toy we got while we were on vacation together was on his bed. A part of me wanted to hug and kiss him again, but all we ended up doing was a hand shake. After he left, i realized i was crying and sobbing over him. My uncle thinks he is probably confused right now. I feel like i really want to try to attempt to get back together if it is possible. I would like to build a connection with him again and get to build an emotional connections again and try to move forward if this makes sense. She started dating a guy right after our break up, came back a month later and left again because she can't forgive me for the mistakes i have made in the past and still talking to this guy from before. They are not im a full out relationship as she hasnt changed that on her social media and the guy has the exact same career as i do with similar interests so its most likely a rebound that is doomed to fail. What im getting at is take time to evaluate the situation over a few months, you never want to live life with regrets of letting him go because of anger which you rightfully deserve to feel after how hes making you feel as though your relationship meant nothing to him. Break ups are hard on each individual and everyone deals with that in positive and negative ways.

My ex broke up with me oct last year. He is now engaged and having a baby. I was told by someone this info. When i congratulated him, he was extremely angry and swore at me as if i had done wrong. We have a baby together and we were engaged. Why would he be so hateful towards me?

Hi Wayne, living in the same roof with our ex can be a struggle. Be sure to know how to set a healthy boundaries and be in acceptance of your current status.

What if my ex is in a rebound but goes on my twitter page from her burner account ( fake account ). She follows 3 people. She went on my page and liked a funny tweet that i liked. I went through the 3 people accs that she follows and none of them liked the tweet that i liked. We been together for 2 years and broke up in March- April. Does this mean anything?

Hmm... we can't really put into meaning on your ex following 3 people. But with her creating a fake account and still checking your page, it just means that she's still wants to have a level of connection with you.

Clay Andrews the 3 people are 2 of her best friends accounts and another page is some game she plays lol. Before we broke up she told me she always wants to see how I’m doing/know. She also said she doesn’t want me to be the best version of myself with somebody else because it was suppose to be w/ her. ( i felt that was toxic. )

Hi Tania, It seems like your ex needs to trust that have already have healed from the breakup before meeting up with you. The fact that he said that you might break if he will see you sounds like he is not ready to be faced with any emotional situation that is why he refused to have a meet up at this point. It sounds like your ex might be confused emotionally at this time. Breakups can be confusing as people tend to adjust to the new dynamics of being single. My ex does that with me. She reaches out when she misses me, just a couple times, twice, she asks to hang out together alone. I've already emphasized with her that I want NO friendship with her because I am only interested/see her as a romantic partner. After these times together, I go back to no-contact.

I broke up with my ex 2 months because i wanted him to give attention, 2 weeks in the breakup he was begging me to get back but i was a bit mean with him, he broke off all contact and yesterday he told me he doesn't regret the breakup anymore. We had a really good relationship and were very very close. We dated for a little over one year

Hey b vt, If this will be your first meet up, be okay if your ex would like to have somebody else on your meet up. She may still have feelings of being uncomfortable and having more people around will make her feel more secure. Just focus on the positive interactions and building her confidence over time. It will change in the future. Depending on your approach and how you would apply the Advanced Relational Skills. Remember that getting back together is a process and you and your ex will be going thorugh different phases.

Hey Blue Blaze, You can initiate contact with your ex as long as you are detached from any form of outcome and is in a better emotional place. It doesn't matter the number of times you would contact your ex but you have to be aware if you are doing it too much and is coming from a place of need. Practice awareness as much as possible. Hey clay! I was talking to a girl for about 6-8 months (we technically weren’t official although we were exclusive) and we would go on dates and everything would seem to go great until last week when she started being unresponsive and cold and when we met up she told me she felt pressured and rushed to be something with me by all of our friends/family, when she just wanted to get to know me and she thinks I’m a really great guy but doesn’t like me like that! It’s weird because before that point she wouldn’t be afraid to flirt or show interest that she liked me and all of a sudden she says that? I texted her afterwards apologizing for making her feel pressured and that I would like to end on good terms and she basically just said yes I’m here if you ever need a friend. To me that’s saying that she doesn’t even want to talk to me anymore or only when I need to talk to someone? I really want her back and start things over again and hopefully get to a relationship with her but I’m afraid she has completely closed the door on that and has even told me she’s not ready for a relationship! I haven’t contacted her in over a week but we’ll likely see each other at an event in the next few weeks! What should I do???!??

There is no "get your ex back" they're an ex for a reason. You have to be able to get through hard times TOGETHER not take time off to "work on yourself" - you gonna look for a safe space everytime life gets rough? Never look back.

My 27 years with a bipolar woman who has left me five times and went into other relationships that never lasted. And even now I am dealing with this on this fifth separation. Whenever she leaves I become enemy number one, everything I say or do or anything I attempt to change in my life she sees it as me just trying to get her back. And she sees everything that I do as trying to destroy her life. We have a nine-year-old son together. I love her very much but being in a relationship with a bipolar woman that comes and goes every so many years is very hard.. so why is it when she leaves that I become the enemy for things I haven't done and sees me as a threat but then after a while of this she comes back..????????????????

Hi Ricky, I'm sorry to hear that you have to go through these tough spots on your relationship. You mentioned that she is bipolar. Was it something that has been properly diagnosed and assessed? Being bipolar can still be managed and they can still have the ability to live a normal life with thorough professional help.

@@ClayAndrews she has been diagnosed as bipolar and PTSD. And she does take medications subscribe by the doctors. But she still has those bipolar mania outbreaks so to speak she still shows all the bipolar symptoms

My ex posted something on tiktok saying “it’s mad embarrassing I cried over a man who’s barely 5’9” and the she was crying in the beginning of the video. Honestly this made me laugh my ass off😂.
