My ex blocked me on social media and phone messages yet I noticed that anytime I posted videos on social media I see some sort of reaction from her post

I knew the moment she reached out via text after I’d been in no contact for 3 months, that she liked me….then, she started sending me selfies and videos, and sending me cutesy memes. Now I’m getting pictures of fond memories of our past. I’m fully convinced I will get this woman back.

Same here. I’m who reached out, but I knew the moment she showed emotion abt what happened between is and showed that she’s still bothered by it… especially since she got pissed off when she heard a rumour abt me and another girl and even admitted that she still wonders if we would’ve worked out and is scared of reopening the same chapter.

I've found it hard to find the correct balance between connecting on the emotional level (post-breakup) and not becoming his emotional crutch. He did decide to end the relationship, after all, and I don't want to provide girlfriend benefits when we are not together. Where is the line/what is the proper balance? Thanks as always, Clay!

Before me and her dated she did all the things that showed that she liked me and now that we're broken up she's doing those things again but she's telling my friends that she thinks I'm really annoying but yet she's staring at me and blushing and whenever I catch her doing those things she seems really nervous about it so I'm really confident that she probably still has feelings for me but is nervous to talk to me about it

My wife and I separated 2 months ago and at this point I don't think we are ever getting back together.

Clay why would he break up with me after 20years BUT never actually leave or move on? 3 years now and he always either comes back or lets me back in. This is a equal monthly thing. He went no contact for 3 months once. Blocking me and eventually made contact and hasn’t done that again. We continue to cycle and will ask each other to “leave me alone”. That will last for maybe a week and always forgive and start over with the cycle again. Neither seems to actually give up and permanently break up. Texting, being physical, giving effort and then it goes back to bad. He has yet to have a rebound. I’m still the only girl in his life. He never says what he wants. He may be a narcissist, yes it’s toxic, of course I should give up already… but is it possible that he still loves me? Because as foolish as I may be that’s what I feel is the truth. It isn’t just me who won’t give up. His he hiding his love or is he using me?

Is it possible that someone with a “don’t settle for less” mindset is still coming back?

I've been doing the stupidest thing these days by not understanding and bringing up the past. She told me that everyone else is surface level with her which is great. It means only good vibes would flow. And that anytime anyone is trying to be on any other level or she even thinks they are, she realizes it upsets her. She said before that if we were friends before the relationship, we would have never gotten together. And that she's fed up things being done and not done n it's exhausting. I barely feel like I have a chance :(

This is why friendships rarely ever work out into intimate relationships: it just doesn’t feel right. Now, I have found that usually when they work it’s when the guy friend zoned the girl and she has had feelings for him almost the whole time.

I think silence can be good but only when you get to know someone well then it can become comfortable, if you only know someone for a year or are still getting to know someone then silence is a bad sign.

Well, he hasn't talked to me since we broke up, but he was balling when he did and he still watches my stories on snap. He said he wanted to talk to me about what I said after the break up. He hasn't contacted me yet and that was 22 days ago so it's safe to say he won't call. I did contact him after like 2 weeks on something that was totally random that reminded me of him and he was super friendly and flirty but we haven't talked since 🤷‍♀️

@@lioncross1849 He asked for space and I want to be respectful of his request and emotions. Plus, I feel like if he really wanted to talk to me he would.

I don’t want to waste my time pursuing a woman I can’t have.

If it didn't work then let it go. Maybe you can get along in the future but, in terms of this kind of love, there's no point going back. Always walk forward. Never backwards.

If you aren't willing to put in the work then you aren't willing to be in love. Nothing just happens on it's own, it has to be nurtured. Sometimes people need to step away and regroup before they come back together stronger than ever, especially since early relationships are seen from an idealistic mindset. The reality hit of separation can make the bond so much stronger if you end up coming back together

What if youre in no contact

My ex knows exactly how I feel,and she told me she can’t find romantic feelings for me anymore? What ever that means.but also said I care greatly about you,and a pert of me has love for you,and let’s build a friendship it’s very confusing

I don't want scare my Ex boyfriend away we met 2 day before Halloween 1990

We still live together. Our relationship was 27 years long. 3 months ago he ended it. He said he was tired of being put down, that his opinion didn't matter. That I was too controlling. We do talk and get on. The other day he rang me to say he was nearly home and be ready to go for a drive. I have sent him a couple of flirty texts. He never responds to them which I don't expect him to. Am I doing the right thing. He never tells me to stop....What do you think?

So I ended it four months ago out of self respect. As you see below I was in the friend zone. So about a week ago I asked her for one of her recipes to which she replied with a video. Happy with that. Much too quickly - four days - much too quickly... I sent her a photograph of my cat nicely perched on a cushion gift she gave me for Christmas. To which I got this reply. "Andy I wld appreciate if you wld refrain from sending me anymore texts. I am trying to move on from this painful period in my life and it does not help when you approach me and text me. Your wish was to end our friendship and I have honoured that and I only ask that you allow me to move on. Thank you." Well I'm privileged that she admits it has been painful for her. She's an Avoidant and I'd been feeling ill treated for a long time. I actually felt she had done all but dump me. I think the best thing to do is to leave this for a few weeks even a month or so and come up with a reply. The question is... what reply. I love her dearly and have immense compassion for her. Stick around for further installments.

if you don't want to go to all these things, tell him you got other plans. I mean, actual friends don't always have time to do stuff together. So if you're afraid of hurting his feelings, by turning down all these invitations, dont. Seems like he doesn't quite get that regardless of the reason for him to choosing to break up, he also loses the constant companionship. I still don't get people like this. Don't stop living your life outside of your time with him including being around other men. At this time, you owe him nothing.
