SIGHT FISHING GIANT BASS in CLEAR CITY POND!

Спорт

In this video, I am fishing a small clear water pond in the middle of the city!
There are bass everywhere in this pond, and I am constantly seeing them on beds and in the deeper water, and I catch the biggest ones from right under me!

I see you're getting the same massive algae blooms I've been seeing over here in the mid-atlantic. I've been able to pull them off a few times when they can see me, but it takes a lot of time and patience, and usually a jig twitched so many times they just can't take it anymore. Can't do that under those conditions. Had them come out and nail a whopper plopper off the nest. Always awesome when they attack like that. That's the day dreams are made of. It's a lot harder to pull them off of bed then people imagine. The males just attack most of the time but the females are tough. I spent an hour pulling a pair of the bed, but it was all about the challenge and getting both of them, especially when they already know you're there. And it was a nice female. Nice job

I’m in eastern NC and the ponds I fish are full of algae right now. It even gets on weedless lures around the eye of the hook. I’m constantly having to pick it off after almost every cast. I just noticed it within the last month and it seems to be getting worse. I wonder what causes it? No giants bed fishing yet this year best was a 3 pounder. Last year I caught several 5s and a couple 6s.

Love the video may I ask a question. When you fish fish off their beds and release them do the fish go back to that bed to defend their eggs or did we just mess up that bed? I always felt bad for doing that and stopped because I didn't know if the mother would come back to defend her eggs.
