Nutnfancy, I've always admired the p226 and have dreamt of owning it for years. After watching your videos, I was inspired to work my butt off and save the money to purchase the firearm I knew I wanted. The beautiful thing about the p226 is that it met and exceeded all my expectations. I knew I wanted it, but I didn't know how well I'd perform with it. It fit the hand perfect. It handled perfect. I'm in love with this pistol. I went with the 40 s&w because MY p.o.u. was home defense. I've never shot a pistol that handles the 40 better. I have big hands and I'm a bigger guy so naturally the weight and size of the pistol help with my effectiveness. Thank you for settling my mind and for helping me meet with my "second wife" haha! Every time I shoot this firearm I think of these videos and I care more for it. Take care and god bless!

I just came across an E2, last weekend didn't even think twice, it's now nested along side my sig 1911 stainless rail. Simply the best all around pistols I've ever owned hands down. The videos are awesome man, tons of valued info in my eye.

I just bought a mk25-D because of this enthusiastic review. I already have a g19 for carry and a g34 for competition, and I love them, but the SIG grip feels a lot better in my hand (i'm 6' tall, so pretty big sausage finger hands), You are totally right about the ergonomics of this pistol. It's a mechanical work of art. Oh, and the Sig Night Sights are excellent. I say if you are a big guy looking for a badass 9mm, and have the money to get one, go ahead, you won't regret it.

Hey Nut'n! I chime in every now and again, about six months ago I bought my first gun, Springfield XD-40 4" two-tone, freaking love it. Now after watching and learning from your reviews (others as well but mainly yours) and watching this one probably three times, I have a Sig P226 Mk-25 on hold at my local gun store and am picking it up tomorrow after renting it for a test shoot at the range today. Thanks for doing what you do! I am a recreational shooter and love well-engineered guns and the Sig P226 is quintessential - deutsche Qualität i.e. German quality. Long Live NutnFancy!!!

The first Sig I placed my hands on was a Mark 25 and swore I would have one. 1 year later I have it and it is everything I could have ever dreamed for. You hear people all the time saying you can by 2 Glocks for that price, why would I pay that.....they are unfortunately clueless about how amazingly balanced Sigs are, especially the 226! They are a higher class pistol that go like the energizer bunny! I have shot right at 1000 rounds through mine since mid Feb and it has experienced ZERO hiccups, period! Just blown away and have added a P239 .40 since then. Side note, I purchased a FNX 45 tac and it may be the best shooting .45acp I have shot as of yet. I thought I would never enjoy a .45 more than my Springfield MC Operator, I was wrong! Great video btw!

Now that I've had my 226 for about 5 months and have had a chance to compare it to several polymer framed pistols, naimly the XD series and the M&P pro series, I realize why this gun is so nice. The trigger is amazing the smoothness of the action, slide release, hammer and decocker put the Sig in a class of its own. Thanks again Nutn I am so fortunate I watched this and your other series of P226 vids. PS mine is chambered in .40 S&W and has the E2 grips.

My first gun was a P226 Enhanced Elite in 9mm. Love it. I've NEVER had a single issue with it. It eats everything I put through it. In the last two years I've put about 2600 rounds through it. Outfitted with Hogue finger grip, Streamlight TLR-1s, and 8 Mec-Gar mags. It's my nightstand gun. I can also put an entire magazine through .50 cent hole at 15 yards standing. Nights sights work great. Nutnfancy did a great review series on the P226 a while ago and he helped me make up my mind. Thanks Nutn

I love how you can hear the passion and love for this gun when he talks about it. I think all of us can appreciate the same passion and excitement for a gun. Its nice to see Nutn still has the passion for this "job", and that passion is what allows him to do this so well. If my studies have taught me anything, it's that you will never be good at/happy with your job unless you love it, and based off of this review? Nutn's in a never ending honey moon. I think that is fantastic. Keep it up!

I LOVE this vodeo. Obhave a G19 its great. But ever since I rented a P226 and shot it o have been obsessed with getting a hammer fired pistol preferably a metal framed. Looking at a SW MP Pro CORE, 92a1, G34 PPQ, SP2022, SIG 1911, bit I keep comming back to the P226 MK25(FDE). I figure for the extra cost I might just save a little longer for the $400 difference and its easy to buy another gun and later want it anyways. And this is a pistol that can be passed on for generation to my kids.

Just bought my cig CPO P226. I purchased it at roughly 60% the cost of a new one. It came with tritium night sights (which still brightly glow) and the finish was around 95-100% NRA Excellent. The barrel showed little slide wear. I changed that quickly with 100 rounds down the pipe on its first outing. It's a 2010 model with the screw in grips. It looks to be an awesome weapon and I can't wait to send more 9mm down range. Thank God l gunship is selling 100 rounds for 100 bucks even in the panic
