Oh no.. I haven’t had surgery yet and I’ve always been able to smell everything already.. that’s not a good sign for my future if my smelling is going to get even better 😂

You talk about stomach growling well I'm 3.5 years out and mine still does it. You gave great advice. Maintaining hydration, protein levels, and taking vitamins are the most important things to do.

nutrient dense foods are grown on farms that focus on soil health and who apply regenerative farming principles....small stomach = less food.... so the foods taken into the digestive system should be very nutrient dense to maximize your health and vitality

Great advice !! The US requires counseling before bariatric duty. Totally agreed have to deal with the relationship with food.

Only if using insurance. I’m having my VSG on 9/21/21 the only delay is Covid related. I saw the surgeon 2 weeks ago. Another concern about having my surgery during this craziness is I’m not allowed to take up a hospital bed, so I will go home a few hours after surgery. I’m a little worried about that part.

I hiccup too when I am getting/feeling full 👌🤗 (it’s weird isn’t it) I haven’t thrown up due to overeating but I have got to the point of feeling extremely uncomfortable and nauseous x You are looking amazing hun x ✨👌

The noisy stomach will last FOREVER 😂🤣It doesn't bother me. I am 21 years post op (YES I SAID 21YEARS) and my stomach still makes noise. You are right PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take your vitamins. You will have a multitude of problems if you don't.

@@newby301 My surgery is Tuesday May 4th 2021...The vitamins she's talking about is multivitamin, calcium caltrate, b12, b complex. Vitamin D & biotin at least these are the vitamins my surgeon told me to take for LIFE

Hi, I’m 3 months post op and no, I haven’t experienced anything significant. Just waiting on gyms to open so I can tone up but overall I’m really happy with how my body is reacting to weight loss x

Had surgery 4/7/21 stomach growling is so strange. My reflux is worse cant tolerate meat. Im also like you I love water and now can't get use to sipping. But I have no regrets because no more insulin and diabetic meds. And my sense of smell is so high. Purchased vanilla protein shakes and can't stand smell.Enjoyed your video.

Thats why I got the bypass I don’t get hungry I eat to maintain healthy

I’ve watched two of the previous videos and now this one.. so, so informative, good job and you look great.❤ I want to ask.. does this mean one can’t eat any junk food at all anymore? Can you drink alcohol? And last one, can a person choose how much of the stomach you want removed? Like say 50% instead of 80 or 90.

Really good question. I m having my surgery in 15 days. I have same question....

I’ve lost about 20lbs over the last 8 weeks and am really clumsy. I’ve got a theory that due to faster weight-loss my body isn’t used to the change in my mass which throws off balance?! Maybe?! 😂😂 I almost fell over standing in line at the store yesterday.

Be careful when walking while carrying things. Five months after my surgery I fell on my face, chipped my tooth, and split my lip open. Good luck with your journey.

Sense of smell is normally heightened due to stress

If you noticed that you Your smell pretty good go check the copper and zinc in your blood it is really important to balance them doesn’t mean that this is a good thing.

Hello!! Im having ESG in 2days and im so nervous and excited at the same time. I know VSG is more severe but it is kinda similar. I have been on the liquid diet for the past 3 days and i swear my sense of smell is so heightened. I dream and taste meals I haven’t eaten for ages 🙈🙈.

I had the E.S.G. Jan 2020, only lost 25 lbs. Starving from the time I came out of surgery for 1 month straight. It was nothing compared to vsg. I know because I am 1month post op of vsg and I am loving it. I hope your E.S.G. experience is a success.

Really good question. I would say it’s not the same. It’s defoooooo still tasty but usually because it’s tasty you feel a little sad that you’re restricted. I’m still happy I did it though! 😊

@@jcmnaomi88 I’m unsure about this I’m afraid. I haven’t had any issues with loose skin, luckily. The only thing I am doing right is wearing my waist trainer but that’s it.

Hello I had my bypass revision February 8th,2022. I'm 60 yrs old.This growling is so loud and crazy . I hate it when I go to my appts and people stare,a lady even offer to buy me lunch lol. I forget to drink water I will set alarm. What can I eat after my 2nd week? Im confused about it.

I understand! Every surgery comes with risks but I’m sure if you follow correct instructions by your surgeon and nurses, you should be fine. I never experienced any problems and unfortunately hair loss is a symptom from gastric sleeve surgery .. again, I personally haven’t experienced this.

Hi, yes I did but I only needed to do the covid test upon arrival in Turkey and it was all arranged for me by Clinichub. The UK wasn't in a strict lockdown when I did my surgery. If you're flying from UK now, you will need to do one before departing, so check places near you that do them. Costs may differ depending on area ..

I don’t but it definitely is something to think about if you’re getting this surgery. I’ve also started doing home work outs to tone up, just in case.

The smell is a B vitamin deficiency. Not absorbing vitamins.
