    Oh nice. I have a grey felt bag just like that, which I‘ve pretty much worn to death...was looking, to replace it with something more durable. A pattern for a bag organizer, that fits exactly into these bigger bags, would be a great addition, btw. Although I guess, one would have to ‚customize‘ that anyway, depending, on what one carries around. They are very handy though. Keeps your stuff neatly organized you can easily switch from one bag to another 🙂

    If I'm using a 5-6 oz leather do you still recommend adding the stiffener layer?

  • @craftsmangus

    @craftsmangus

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi Adam. For the thickness of the leather and stiffener use, sometimes it's irrelevant. I don't know what leather you are using some leather may thick but its loose and soft some is hard I think its depend, if you need it to fees in shape and hard form, stiffener it is need to use. But if you would like to have the bag loose by itself (example: hermes garden party) you can go without stiffener. Or also sometimes some bags are collapsible. Stiffener just help to control the bag shape (also its strength). Without stiffener you might need to check for balancing the leather collapsing direction (parts and grain). Sorry if some word may confuse you,( I'm not native English speaker).
