    Great video. Always pick up something I can use. The masking tape as a guide for skiving was a great tip. I’ll look on Etsy for this pattern. Thanks.

    I shrink your pattern to 70% of the original pattern. Because you gave excellent directions on creating this beautiful bag the one I made came out great. ( I wish that I could include a picture) I am now going to make another one at 90% of the original pattern.

    Hi Gus! Hope all is well with you guys! As always your craftsmanship is simply amazing, to be honest with you I’m learning a lot from your channel, the more I watch the more I get inspired. When are you guys coming back? Really anxious to watch your new vlogs (new bag designs). By the ways, I just wanted to ask if I can use a manual skiving machine for this bag? Thank you so much, looking forward to hear from soon. Keep safe😇

    Great bag, will it be possible to sew everything with a cylinder machine. The last step 9:23 will be difficult or must I proceed differently with a machine?

    I love this bag. Do you think I could make it in vinyl and machine stitch?

  • @craftsmangus

    @craftsmangus

    2 жыл бұрын

    Of course, you can. I recommend to use cylinder bed sewing machine. But if the vinyl is soft, flat bed machine is possible.

    Do you finish any of the edges like on the sides of the handle and at the top of the bag? If so, what is your preferred way on chrome tanned leather?

  • @craftsmangus

    @craftsmangus

    4 жыл бұрын

    I use edge paint for this project. The "Fenice" set of primer/paint/finisher is good one. For me personally I preferred folded leather edge seams as way better for long term usage of the bag. But just for this project I aim for less process and keep it more simple.

    Thank you very much for your comments. I've been asked many times to make more simple bags. So in my videos set would be mixing around the complicate with lining and more simpler one. You are always welcome to let me know anything.
