Outside of the town of Thoed Thai is the former camp and barracks of the Mong Tai Army. Under the leadership of Khun Sa this army of Shans became some of the biggest exporters of opium in the world, and Khun Sa became one the the most powerful men in Asia. But what happened afterwards? Let's visit his former camp to see what's happened to his legacy 40 years after his control has ended. And maybe we'll even be able to find the shrine to the man himself where local people worship. Let's go!
