While it is true that a judge does have close to near total authority while presiding over their own courtroom... Well let me put it this way, even the Almighty has some basic limitations on its own omnipotence. Not even a Judge can just suspend a defendants civil rights, nor can they make orders or demands that are themselves in violation of written laws. And election interference is in fact against the law. Especially when the judge is being more than reasonable in accommodating for needs or unforseen problems for the Prosecution, while simultaneously refusing even the most justified reasonable requests coming from the defendant. In what can only be described as a disgraceful display of Judicial discrimination and bias against the defendant.

If you look there isn't any state mandate. There is nothing preventing the prosecution of a candidate. There are no laws, nothing in the Constitution, any statues, or other mandates which even prevents a sitting president from standing trial. There is only a Nixon era Justice Department memo saying that a sitting president cannot be tried. It is only out of respect for the Justice Department as an institution that states adhere to this memo, which can only be binding towards federal prosecution. As far as former presidents goes there is literally nothing. No laws, no statues or other mandates, not even any executive orders. So, not sure what federal mandate you are referring to. Just saying something doesn't make it true.

Presidential illegal immunity would be a disastrous precident for both parties. Given our political system alternates which party is in control roughly every 8 - 12 years this verdict will help the democrats just as much as it will the republicans / trump in the short term. @@MaddenFifa Different case, this current case has nothing to do about his assets. Also the other case has been debunked by investors, even the banks involved said they had zero complaints with doing business with Trump. I can’t believe how uninformed anti-Trump people are.

This judge is supposed to representing the people to ensure that laws are followed by the prosecution when holding someone accountable for crimes. Unfortunately, this judge has made rulings that are clearly violating the defendant's Constitutional rights. The judge should be held accountable for continuing to make rulings that violate the laws. The judge or anyone else should NOT have any immunity when they violate someone's rights especially when they violate the laws to do so. When the gag order is pronounced as a violation of law, the judge should then do the time or pay the fines that he illegally made the defendant do or pay. By law, this judge should have recused himself immediately due to his clear conflicts of interest and NOT just the appearance of conflict of interest which is what the law demands.

Yes infact this Judge is subject to both felonies and disbarment for violating one's rights and for failure to reculse with any conflict of intrest. On appeal this judge can be sent to jail 20 years, and face the same disbarment as Bill Clinton got for just one unethical or unconstitutional act and be forced to repay all collective acts. Local WV judge with a divorce case breaking these same rules was disbarred and ordered to pay $280,000 over $2,800 taken in an illegal search to divide property without any list conducted outside the court. She also was sent to jail for a couple years. This local Judge was charged in federal court.

Good on Valuetainment for standing up for self imagined criminal rights while also blaring the sirens about crime. Solid!

But the Trump lawyers could file an emergency appeal and the Court could agree to hear it. Look at the case in the 2000 presidential election, Bush vs. Gore. The Supreme Court agreed to hear that case in a few days and ruled in another few days.

@@utube7917 The only guarantees in life are death and taxes. It is possible that like in 2020, the Supreme Court could even refuse to hear the case. If that happens, all bets are off.
