And look at how it affected their economy. It's better to just go with herd immunity and allow folks to make their own decisions. Being "vaccinated" doesn't stop the spread of COVID. It's just a booster shot. You can contract it vaccinated or unvaccinated. It makes no difference to the rate that it's spread. Ya it wasn't a vaccine, but for some reason calling it a vaccine is never labeled as misinformation. It was a 'leaky vaccine' meaning that it was very specific in the strain it was effective against....meaning basically that vaccinating everyone was in effect SELECTING for new strains. Whereas natural immunity has a broader immunity. Reading RFK jr's book "The Real Anthony Fauci", the first chapter demolishes all of Neil's arguments. Side note: Neil loves stats, I don't believe for a sec he doesn't know which states did better. Seems like something a scientist would look into but all of a sudden he is "mr.Oh I don't pay attention to such things, I just play a scientist on tv"

@ciantiernan6494

If you read the research papers you’ll see that they did have a double blind test, a large part of clinical trials in general unfortunately is actually just setting up trials, finding volunteers, limited resources etc. the trials for covid was fast tracked meaning more resources, priority and multiple clinical phases occurring at the same time which is a risk for the volunteers but they signed knowing the risk. mRNA vaccines is not a new technology, we have very fast and accurate genomic techniques and covid-19 was similar to past viruses and the antigens was identified quickly, another thing to add is that even if something does have negative side effects which surprise is everything it essentially goes benefit-risk assessment (common practice in science and is why scientists should not control government) If anything covid highlighted how quickly science can achieve something with unlimited resources which is sad, think of how each time we go to war MASSIVE technological advancements are made.

How do you know it works? It wasnt working in animal trials for 10 years. They brought the experiment to humans despite that; despite knowing it had 20+ adverse conditions, despite it just being gene therapy and not not a traditional RNA vaccine and for only one spike protein. On top of that they tried to fudge data that showed the mortality of the placebo was actually better than those who took the shot. Thats just some of the digging to learn of all the shortcomings of a failed shot, but thats exactly the stuff they tried to hide and wanted to hide for 75 years so that you could simply bow down and buy the rhetoric and slogan of Safe and Effective so you could be just like the lab rats. The answer to this is widely known, and there are three main reasons: 1. Generally, the only way to stop a significant virus outbreak is for most of the population to gain immunity. There are calculations done during outbreaks to determine the percentage of the population needed to have immunity in order to beat the virus. Without immunity, we sometimes see diseases like measles resurface and spread when a lot of people don’t get vaccinated. 2. Some people who are immunocompromised or have other medical conditions cannot get vaccinated, so we can help protect them by reducing spreadability. 3. Two vaccinated people are much less likely to infect one another than one vaccinated person because vaccines are not 100% effective.

I never understood people that claim they read the science and start off the argument that it wasn’t tested.
@xfKYZacTri
12 күн бұрын
It wasn't tested... enough. And, well, the results are right there. Fact of the matter is, the human body is such a complex construct that it's borderline impossible to test any vaccine against all possible permutations of that body. But, with just three quarters of a year of testing, you've barely begun scratching the surface of the number of possible permutations. Heck, from one individual body to the next, you can have such wildly different reactions to even more basic compounds that, well... what is perfectly healthy for one individual is actually lethal to another. Peanut allergies? How about lactose intolerance? And on and on and on. And people genuinely thought that three quarters of a year of testing a vaccine was enough? It's... unrealistic. The malaria vaccine took 40+ years to develop. That is the sort of timescale which is more realistic with vaccines. Heck, we've been trying to create an HIV vaccine for decades as well by now and, well... no dice yet. Really... the SARS-2 (COVID) vaccines just weren't tested. That really just is the long and short of it. By numbers alone, the number of people or bodies they could have tested it on pales in comparison to the number of people that the vaccines were rolled out to (the entire human population). Divide one by the other and, well, the result is approaching zero. So, yeah, mathematically it remained untested before being rolled out.

I'm not looking to start a fight, nor did I support a full-on vaccine mandate for everyone. I'm saying there's a broader picture to consider when deciding who needed to be vaccinated for the safety of others.

Well that's because his opponent is arguing in bad faith. Neil listens to and responds directly to accusations the host presents. But every time Neil counters with his own argument or accusation the host just completely ignores it and moves on to the next subject. So it's obvious that either the host is completely ignorant and doesn't know what he's talking about therefore he cannot mount a rebuttal, or he's arguing in bad faith just spouting off talking points to get a rise out of his audience and overwhelm Neil. The ladder is a common strategy employed by the right, because it takes 10 times the effort to disprove something than it takes to make the accusation in the first place. So their end goal is to just exhaust you through an endless series of time wasting exercises until you get annoyed and they can claim victory when you exit the conversation

I have been suffered from nerve pain and medicated since then. It is not fair.
MBAs being less likely to be vaccinated probably has something to do with the fact that many of them were probably able to either work from home, work remotely, or do not work in an environment with a high volume of individuals in close quarters. By comparison, it would be interesting to look at degrees with a diametrically opposed workplace scenario. Left a fantastic legacy, but unless he goes back to his roots & shakes the chip off his shoulder - someone else will fill that role My 0.02 cents
there is a difference between social awareness and my freedom. my grandmother was in a dementia home for 5 years, I saw her a lot but never even if it was my acid reflux. because what if it's not? if I an sick covid flu or what ever, the responsible thing is to limit my interaction with others. it isn't David or neal who is right, they both have great points
In Australia, well before this COVID issue, if you did not vaccinate your children you lost access to welfare and benefits for them. Still applies.
I feel like PBD is not only a very smart man, he’s an honest man confident enough in who he is to politely listen, even when it’s apparent to him that his guest is being less than honest or forthcoming with the truth.

This is one of those rare moments where someone you respect just sounds lost. “It was tested” is correct. “It was tested well enough to justify ruining people’s life for not getting it” is not even close. The double down that’s happening by people that were just wrong is astounding.
“There’s an entire system in place” that …brought us the opioid crisis and last year got the ceo of Moderna a billion dollar bonus. Thanks Neil.

“we can’t know if it’s safe for kids unless we give it to them”. - ThE sYsTem The “system”- had 2 top board members quit bc of ethics issues w the EUA which was buried by the media. The “system” became exactly what everyone feared would happen under trump and just did whatever the WH told them to. This interview was tough to listen to. @@coldpotatoes9687 “we don’t know if it’s gonna f*ck the kids up unless we give it to them”. Even tho covid poses them ZERO HARM! Yea, no. that’s the exact opposite of what the “system” is supposed to be. And the quote is legit. Said by one of the FDA clowns during their livestream when presenting vax approval for 6-12. Your first point - “if you don’t like it then make a new system” is childish. It’s not based in reality. Just a cheap way to deflect and avoid accountability. And you can tell there’s zero ability for Tyson dude to entertain the idea that maybe, just maybe… the system is corrupt. Impossible! Right? Its one big incestuous system between private enterprises and the federal govt and the health agencies and all the media and big tech and Hollywood and professional sports all helping push things along --- and my guy doesn’t question anything? He’s talking as if covid is still this big scary Black Plague and justifying all kinds of fuckery all based on fear of covid. He’s a mouthpiece now. And as I said- someone knowledgeable would wipe the floor with him regarding covid/vax debate based off everything he said in this interview. (And I never said or insinnuated it was a debate.) because every point this dude is trying to make is absolutely not as he thinks it is. Despite his condescending confidence and speaking in absolutes

I’m not sure how me being forced to be a test subject and have some sort of chemical injected into my body is the same as a McDonald’s worker being legally forced to wash their hands before handling my food.

Actually an apt analogy. If you don't follow the company's rules you get shit canned. Nothing new. The rules can be completely arbitrary. Nobody owes you a job. Most states are at-will employment so you can be shit canned at any time for any reason or for no reason at all. It's funny how a bunch of people are only now coming to discover this after workers' rights were systematically destroyed by corporate-funded politicians over the course of many decades

I say to Neil if its dirty you can't clean it up, I don't care how brilliant you are...for myself a flu shot almost kill me in 1997, I haven't taken one sense, I researched everything about Covid, because I'm realistic, and IMO covid had a lot of BS, and I had know fear of it, though I had preexisting health issues, I felt vaccination would not help me, but instead would warm me, simply because of what I've experienced with the flu shot and I stand firm...Melvin that Avatar looks familiar 🤔 I'm wondering if you're my folks.

@@edwardcopeland5069 the problem is that covid vaccine has nothing to do with the flu vaccine. They are designed differently and use a different technology. Do you guys really think catching Covid is better than getting a vaccine? Look up videos online, we had people on ventilators, people waiting for a bed in hospitals, millions of people have died around the world. Yes, the vaccine has a few side effects, just like anything else, aspirin has side effects, coffe has side effects, shoot even drinking too much water can cause problems. The point is, there are consequences of having covid, some of which include hospitalization, intubation, death, and even covid has long lasting effects like lung scarring, lung injury, it even affects your heart and your brain.
