Shoulder Press Pain Free!

Does direct overhead pressing causes you pain? If so, you do NOT need to push through it or abandon overhead work completely. The 1/2 kneeling Landmine Press is a great alternative to work the shoulders and also provides additional hip and core stability benefits. The slightly reduced angle is significantly more shoulder friendly (less mobility required) and arguably more functional, with a better transfer to athletic performance.

This would have of be one of the clearest set of instructions I have ever seen for an exercise. Subscribed here (and I'm already a subscriber to your mobility series on your website).

I find the hardest part is getting the bar up into position with more than 40kg loaded.

Hello great video. What's the difference between the standing and the kneeling shoulder press? Does it make a difference if you have a long barbell where the weight is closer to your hands or if you have a short barbell (150cm) with an extension where the weight is inevitably further in the middle? THX

Would this be a good option for nagging proximal bicep tendon-apathy? I’m trying to find something that I can use to work around the problem until I can actually figure out how to heal whatever is going on.
