I cannot thank you guys enough. That pec minor massage did absolute wonders for me. Ive been struggling w shoulder pain and limited mobility for almost 2 years. Ive gone to many doctors, physical therapist, MRI, nerve study, and some other sort of fluid injection scan. At no point did anyone consider loosening up the chest. I gave myself a good pec minor massage and I can’t describe the relief. No more clunky shoulder! still have some work to do on it but this was a MAJOR key that I was missing. Im am so excited I’ll be able to get back in the weight room again. Thanks Bob and Brad!!!🎉

I've been having a minor annoying pain in my shoulder, this video fix it in like 2 minutes with that first massage. Wow. Like 5 or 6 years ago I had really bad sciatica nerve impingement, and one of your older videos permanently solved it with another stretch, so I knew I needed to watch another one of your videos. Thank you guys.

That was a great video! I have been struggling for a few weeks, and the pectoral massage seems to have done the trick. I felt almost an immediate change and was able to move my arm through a range of motion, where before it was very sore and I struggled to move it that far. Many thanks, I will do all the stretches you have shown.

Thank you for this video! I’ve been working with impingement exercises for a while, but I seem to have plateaued. I do have an old rotator cuff injury that flares up once in a while, but The pain I’ve been experiencing recently feels different. It’s all over the place, hard to pinpoint where it’s coming from. I’ve recently resumed ballet classes. Arm movements called port de bras seem to be the culprit. I only have mild discomfort in class, but pain ramps up afterwards. Pain radiates all over: chest wall, shoulder, scapula, neck, all on the right side. I had a right mastectomy 16 years ago. Chest wall muscles were spared, but I have a lot of tight, inflexible scar tissue in my right chest wall and flank, with a band of scar tissue extending and disappearing into the fleshy inner part of my upper arm. I had lots of excellent PT after surgery that restored my range of motion to 95%, which is great! But 10% of mastectomy patients continue to have lifelong chest wall pain, and I’m one of them. Weekly acupuncture and gentle stretches have kept discomfort at a level I can live with until lately. I don’t want to live on pain pills. I don’t want to give up ballet. Today I tried your massage technique. After about a minute of very uncomfortable finger massage I felt that little muscle start to release. Pain eased and the whole area opened up. You guys really are the best physical therapists on the internet! Keep up the good work!

This really helped with my shoulder impingement. I had been rehabbing a Rotator cuff injury for 6 months, and had been able to get back into the gym again but after few months I was unable to lift, this really helped. I spend long long hours at the computer typing, and I think this might be what may have caused my impingement.

I’ve been doing so many exercises and I have a massage gun but I didn’t know what the muscle was that was causing the impingement. 45 seconds with the massage gun getting real deep like you said, worked like a charm! I got instant relief! Definitely putting that into my routine! It’s so nice to figure things out that actually work. Wry encouraging. Thanks you guys!

I'll start with compliments (then you can bypass the storytime after, haha): You two are awesome, and hooray for your timing today! I started out with videos from about 6 years ago, at first I was thinking to myself, "Who are these silly guys?". It didn't take a minute for you both to completely win me over. You are both absolutely endearing and your teamwork in presenting is everything. The positivity, caring, and light-heartedness while educating are a pleasure to watch. You just seem like such nice guys, it is easy to trust you! With your millions of subscribers, none of this is news to you - I just want to toss another "thank you!" and "you're awesome!" on the pile. I won't get into details of the entire not-great experience with my clinic visit and diagnosis on Monday, but I got a 5-minute tops meeting from a "famous" orthopedist at a local clinic for frozen shoulder with almost no interaction and not so much as one recommendation for aftercare, it was like meeting with the wind and only getting a light breeze! He had an awful lot of big-deal autographs plastering his walls, so it was hard to feel I should question him, not that I had the opportunity to ask anyways. With a 2 week wait for PT I've been trying to be as proactive as possible scouring for the common denominator for best practices. I found the "Two Most Famous Physical Therapists on the Internet" and after seeing your descriptions for frozen shoulder (as well as from other presenters, articles, and research papers trying to fill the gap of zero education) I think he was flat-out wrong. I believe I have impingement, because while there is constant general discomfort and the *desire* to use a limited range of motion due to that discomfort I can still move my arm around with just a few spots that are especially uncomfortable with some popping, and a feeling almost like it's dislocated but not. Trying your various techniques to self-diagnose and treat possible injuries seems to confirm that at the very least this is *not* frozen shoulder (which would be wonderful, though maybe wishful thinking?). I'm certainly no professional so I'm going to get a second opinion. But in the meanwhile, your exercises already giving me relief, and hope. I am so thrilled to have found you and with all the other health offerings you have here I will be keeping busy with continued learning. Also, Bob - seeing a couple comments referring to something up with your health. For what it's worth, sending positive thoughts your way and best hopes for whatever is going on.

Hi Ellen & Everyone, well today I was more productive at home (sort of) I have made lunch and dinner and eaten it well today. A good friend called me today. His sister graduated from college so they have been in another state for about a week! I really missed him and his wife. Getting all my Dr appts ready for June. I am getting more and more Dr appts. Do you feel that way Ellen? It never stops! And now I am seeing this therapist with my shoulder and seeing another therapist for my walking. I am starting to shuffle like an old person. Being 65 it’s too early for that nonsense. So I am staying active with all my doctors! 😊I get my new weekly meals tomorrow, and those have really been good. I should do at least a load of clothes tonight, then I will see what taking care of things today! Bye for now my special friend! ❤

I knew exactly where to go and thankfully the massage using my renpho handheld massager (another gem you recommended) did the trick in less than a minute my ROM improved and so did my discomfort. Thank you doesn’t cover it 🙌🏼

I felt like I just tore my rotator in my shoulder again. Could not raise my arm above my shoulder. After one round of these stretches something released in my shoulder. Feels much better. Thanks!!!!

Hi Bob & Brad! I want to thank you so much for this exercise, I wanna say that the massage helped me a lot. I am working from the desk and my pec minor gets tensed so much. I had this ligament cracking sound and now its better, but I would like to know please if I can apply a daily massage, if it's recommended and how long should it last. Same thing if I am going to buy a machine gun for massage. I wanna send all my good and positive thoughts for Bob! Thank you, you're helping us a lot! 😃🙏

I've been trying different stretches to alleviate my shoulder impingement, which I have had for years... These were some of the most effective... massaging that muscle in the front was particularly useful in relieving pain.

OK so I am at work, searching how to fix my shoulder. Training for my event is hard because of the shoulder impingement. You both show me this, and I did this at my desk. I kid you not, I can move my arm again with minimal pain ( I assume I need to keep working on it so it doesn't tighten back up). Thank you for sharing this with everyone.

Cat believe this worked. I am obese and started losing weight a few minths ago with diet and kettlebells. 3 months later im starting to love my kettlebell excercises and got a shoulder injury. 30 seconds of rubbing the area with my fingers did the trick. Amazing! And now i dont have to take time off from training. Thanks a million!
