Should you get a paint correction before PPF? The answer might surprise you!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Lots of people assume that it's a good idea to get a paint correction/polish right before installing PPF on a car. The film is clear after all, so if your paint has swirls and scratches...you'll be able to see them under the film...right? That seems logical but it's not necessarily the case. In this video we show a great example of an often unknown value of Paint Protection Film and explain why it's often NOT worth the time and money to paint correct a car right before PPF.

What type of film is it? Does it matter or does this happen with all ppf?

This film is SunTek Reaction. Most high quality films will have similar results specifically regarding swirls and light scratches already on the clear coat. But some films (like this one) also have self healing properties if light scratches occur onto the film itself.
