Believe it or not most Russians have no idea why. Everything Russia has done is presented as self defense by local propaganda. He saw workers standing next to him enthusiastically responding to slogans shouted from megaphones. When the demonstration ended, he talked with them on the way home. They challenged the organizers (= the government) with the worst insults. From their explanations it appeared that.... no, the enthusiasm was not forced by fear. Amazing the difference on the answers between the young and the old. @@toneojly1249 I think you have yet to realize how the main problem of that is also that your entire country forces you to embrace that opinion or otherwise you are marginalized and genuinely oppressed both by the state apparatus and by the people around you. The funny stuff is that we be thinking Rusia is a dictatorship when we see it there but if it got to happened here with the same results people would support it because "obviously we are in the right side so treating people who think different well is inherently bad for those people are just wrong and deserve no voice".

I left Russia 3 years ago, when I truly thought that this is the country's lowest point. Now, I'm just shocked that if you say "war" you can go to jail, but directly yelling about whole nation genocide as some good thing is perfectly okay.

China and Russia have their own territorial disputes along with being economic rivals. Russia is about to sell themselves out to China to try to salvage a lost war. But I am more referring to the Russian perception that everyone around them is trying to take their land and steal their Russian-ness, or something. It's just a perception, and their neighbors hate them for it.

Dude... You're kidding yourself. 85% of Poles do not intend to defend Poland. There are no such idiots who would die for Kaczyński, Tusk, Mentzen... and many others. To prepare our nation for war, we would have to build a civil society. Just like in the west. Citizens would have to have the right to decide about the country's affairs. The political class would have to give up some of its privileges. Immunity, impunity, divine power. This will never happen. Ultimately, our politicians and our system are a slightly modified PRL. Some of the politicians will flee to the USA, and the rest will join the Russians. Why? Because the Russian political class is the same.

I laughed so hard when they said that Russia did not touch Finland because it was neutral, obviously they don’t know the Soviets were destroyed by the Finns while trying to invade Finland. Not to mention sharing neutral Poland with Nazi Germany and collaborating in the first half.

As a Pole, I can say that no-one in Poland seriously think about taking Lviv over. There's no Poles living there, It's Ukrainian city nowadays. Times have changed, maps were redrawn 80 years ago, changing them again will only result in death. Exactly what we see Russians are doing again.

I love how these Russians love to forget that they invaded Poland with the Nazi’s at the start of WW2. Stalin and Hitler were good buddies until Hitler turned around and pushed the Russians all the way back to Stalingrad.

When they say "They don't love us." I wish you would ask them if they know what the Holodomor was, or ask them if they think Ukraine and the other countries WILLINGLY joined the USSR or whether they were brutalized and starved to death until they joined? It terrifies me because these are what Yuri Bezmenov warned us about. If you've never read his books, at LEAST watch his interview, search his name. He explains everything so well. He defected from the USSR many, many years ago.

Russia really needs to hear a response in a form of a uniform mass campaign informing Russians that people in other countries do not feel like invading Russia since they do not not envy Russia anything. Since yes, Russian combative attitude to other nations, mostly but not only towards US but also towards it's neigbours, stems from this conviction that other countries envy Russia and that this is why there is some secret plotting going on that poses a threat to Russia. This is a false paranoid view and only thing that could bring about the change to Russian mindset would be showing to common Russian people that such conviction has nothing to do with hard reality.

Ukrainians are our brothers, Poles are wonderful people. We are against the war. We must dеstrоy Poland! Because: Poland and the NATO countries have de facto declared war on Russia by supplying weapons to the anti-Russian pro-NATO forces that usurped power in Ukraine (friendly and allied with Russia) in 2014. NATO countries train tеrrоrists in Ukraine who kill and intimidate the population of Ukraine and Russia. The NATO country carried out a tеrrоrist attack on Russian infrastructure (Nord Stream). Today, the Russians are the largest divided nation in Europe by the NATO bloc. NATO does not allow us to unite in Ukraine. My family is divided by the NATO "wall" between Russia and Ukraine, like tens of millions of families in Russia and Ukraine. It's a tragedy. P.s. Therefore, if you live in a NATO country, do not be surprised if one day an nucе Avangard (hyppersonic glide vehicle) flies to you. We will unite with our families in hеavеn, and you will gо tо hеll. yeah... russian history books are... different. they are not just brainwashed about present day events - their entire history has been edited and parts rewritten or for the most inconvenient simply removed as if they never happened. I am sure that makes it even tougher to recognise the truth - after all russia is a peaceful country which has never invaded its neighbours and only every helps people - and ukrainians are just brainwashed russians that need to either be reeducated or exterminated. the cognitive disconnect in these people is astounding. And as time passes, the people interviewed are becoming more explicit, resolute and vehement in their statements. russia is destroying its own soceity. How hard it must be for guys like that older guy who obviously understood the truth but is surrounded by a society spiralling back into 19th century ways of thinking and plunging into extremism .

That's funny. I'm form Poland. I personally do not know a person who would like Poland to be territorially larger. what is it for? Isn't it better to develop, learn, travel, create businesses, rest, live in peace? I think 99.9 percent of people in Poland have a similar opinion.

Oh, and Stalin starved 7-10 million Ukrainians to death, PURPOSELY, after they had already been defeated. Read some REAL history, the kind that talks about the reality of what happened. Yes, most of what I hear from putin and the leadership reminds me of the 30's and 40's with nazi's and hitler. I keep waiting to see putin overthrown. He is not only killing civilians, but wasting his own military. Plus look at all the russians that fled the country, they are the smart ones.

As a Latvian, its infuriating to see their entitlement on other countries. They are so out of touch, they really believe Europe didn't develop and that we're jealous of them. Also brushing of Baltic States as useless states is so disrespectful while ignoring historical events done by Russia. They just see Baltic States as territories to be taken. I could go on and on... Cognitive dissonance is strong with average russian.

Russians after the World War 2 traditionally call all their opponents Nazis. In the USSR, the "Prague Spring" was also said to be organized by the Nazis. It is strange to see your surprise about Poland - do you really think that the Nazis rule in Ukraine, as Russian propaganda says?

All that you have to do is ask a Russian when WW2 started. From 1939 to 1941 Russia and Germany were allies.

As a person from a Baltic country I have to say - this was one of the hardest videos to watch from this channel... I kept my face covered the whole time from horror and disbelief. I feel so bad for Ukrainians for the undeserved hate they receive, but I didn't expect these answers about other countries too. Their ignorance just has no limits... My country has been known to the world and historians for more than a millennium, we belong to a completely different language and ethnic group than Russians, it's millions of people with unique traditions and they just declare "these are UNNEEDED TERRITORIES". Uuugh, it makes my blood boil!

Many Russian people think that Poles were Nazis aswell, they live in a different reality. Most Russians think the definition of Nazism is simple: being against Russia.

I don't understand... I don't understand how you can be so naive as to believe in Polish propaganda. Into my government's propaganda. Currently, my country is COMPLETELY DEFENSE. We transferred most of the weapons and ammunition to Ukraine. 85% of the population HATES our government and will not defend Poland. In case of war, there will be mass flight like in Afghanistan in 2021. Let us add that "my" government de facto works for the Americans and is controlled by them. "The strongest army in Europe"? Do you really believe that Poland has about USD 350 billion for armaments? Have you seen our GDP? Moreover, this equipment will be available in... a dozen or so years. In two years, only 100 new tanks and 50 gun howitzers arrived in Poland. We transferred 400 tanks and 150 gun howitzers to Ukraine. Stop believing this propaganda. Poland is in danger of becoming another Belarus. Seriously. And Poles understand this. 90% of Poles DO NOT want to send troops to Ukraine. Poles are not such serious idiots. But Poles do not rule in Poland. They have no influence on their politicians.

@@s.l.9309 Why would I work for them? :P I don't know what propaganda you're getting... but these are the grim facts. We gave Ukraine about 2,000 units of heavy equipment. Including 400 tanks, 400 artillery systems, 400 infantry fighting vehicles, 200 heavy armored personnel carriers, 30 MiG-29 fighter planes, 12 Mi-24 attack helicopters, 10 S-200 anti-aircraft systems... and that's just a brief summary. Over the course of two years, we received (bought) approximately 100 tanks and 50 artillery systems. In addition, 12 Patriot launchers that we bought in 2017. After 6 years, they finally arrived. Militarily, Poland has ceased to exist and it will take a very long time before we reach even the pre-2022 level. How should we do this if, for example, we receive the F-35 (purchased in 2020) in 2031? When Andrzej Duda begged you in Davos (in 2023) to deliver even old equipment to Poland... he was not joking.

As a Ukrainian I feel despair when they are talking about killing infants, children, it's a total madness
