Thank you Lucy. Merry Christmas 🎄
Great content and Channel! I will definitely share this will my daughters who are currently 8 and 10 years old. We started a book reading channel to improve their English reading and comprehension skills. Plus, I wasn't much of a book reader growing up and now having the opportunity to read with them and share it with the world!
Thank you so much. Your classes are really helpful. And please explain the use of some words like ironically, subsequently, consequently, probably etc.

Why b is should have?
@haiai832
4 жыл бұрын
I guess (could have) would also work here. In case of (should have) it means what I was supposed to do in the past. (I know I was supposed to study but I didn't). And for (could have), I know it was possible (there was an opportunity) for me to study last night but I didn't. Which is the better fit? I don't know. I need more context to decide that. If anyone thinks that without the need of more context one of them is a better fit could you please explain why? (Would have) might also kind of work. It would sound like there is an implied condition."(Had I not done an escape room) I would have studied last night". But I guess the other 2 fit better. It all depends on context(: If anything is wrong please someone correct me.
@haiai832

I have a feeling that the word (instead) points more towards (should have) instead of (could have). I don't know why and I don't have any grammatical base to support it. And it doesn't quite make sense. Could anyone comment on that? Sorry for the messy writing. I am thinking as I am writing(:

If I had watched your videos daily, I would have improved my English. I could have done it more often, but I was too busy with my crazy kids. I should have organised a timetable (a specific time) to watch you after bedtime. I will try to do it very soon. Thank you again you’re so adorable 😍
I would have passed bye but I could not resist this great lesson, and I wouldn't have learnt so much today if I had not stopped to watch this video. I would have missed such a wonderful opportunity to improve my Spoken English, but then, I'm saying thank you Lucy and that I look forward to learning more.

OMG pronounce conditional is by far the most complicated things in my entire English learning journey... I hope one day I can master them and people quit to make pocker face after my speech.
I should've started KZread channel 10 years ago since it really is beneficial. You shouldn't have given your money to him. He always forget to pay it back. I could've done all the questions. But I hadn't much time to do it. If I hadn't worked 2 years ago, I wouldn't have known what the meaning of leave is.
Lucy, you are fantastic in teaching. I love your British accent.
Hi , happy new year!!! Could you shed some light on “must have”? Best
If I had watched this video before , these points would have cleared in my mind. thanks alot. I Should have watched this before. my answers are: 1-couldn't have 2-could have 3-would have 4-shouldn't have 5-would have
1.couldn’t have 2. could have 3. would have 4. shouldn’t have 5. would have I would like to know more about " might have + past participle ". Hopefully you're gonna teach it. Thank you. Merry Christmas♥️
this lesson today is so amazing and useful I should have watched this video for a long time
I love the pronunciation of Lucy.You prepare more videos on that topic.

I am from Indonesia, I usually difficult to interpret english if using native speakers, but when i watch your video's this is very very easy I learned, thanks Lucy💙
A, b, c, b, a. Thanks a lot for the video. The one was really useful and interesting ! Your explaining of "would have" was that puzzle part that I needed to have an absolute understanding of the third conditional because its structure was strange to me, not anymore 😉😋 Thank you ! ♥️

That was an absolutely phenomenal lesson. Thank you.
