    The R is not always pronounced in American English. In Boston we pahk the cah in Hahvahd Yahd. I look in the mirrah and make errahs

    I've been living in Ukraine just over 7 years now and have had a few minor problems with dialogue with the people who have been learning the English language and how it is different from how we talk in everyday life. I've just recently discovered this channel and now going to try and use it to help me and others who I am acquainted with and to help understand how we can try to make it possibly easier for me to be able to help with the understanding of the English language even if I may not actually speak it as well as I have been told by many other people in the UK but here they all tell me that the way that I speak is very clear and understandable even though I apologise for my Hampshire farmers accent. I say y(ears) but others say Y(hares) I think many people know what I am trying to explain, the same way when people say Ans(w)er the silent W but many people here include the W so they will say something like An-swer but I never knew which was or is the correct way to actually pronounce it. Anyway, I'm no English teacher but I do enjoy helping people to improve their skills and understanding of the language as learning Russian and Ukrainian is a bit more difficult when you're 60 and have limited visibility. Thanks for the video which I will subscribe from now on to help me help others with in the days ahead 👏👍 This also reminded me of how the local dialogue back home is not as understandable to many foreign people as they learn from sources that do not have an identifiable accent, when they do it is always an American accent male and female.
