Used both versions interchangeably before in tricky situations. Happy to know either were OK and neither was wrong. Thank you!

Very good lesson, thank you Lucy, it helps me a lot.
My English improved so much thanks to you♡Thank you Lucy
Thank you for this video, Lucy! Maybe you can also do a video on the if-clauses. In AE it has become super common to say: 'If I would have known this I would have done it differently'. Also people tend to skip the past perfect saying something like: 'If I knew this I would have done it differently' instead of 'If I had known this I would have done it differently.'

I would say "Had I known this, I would have done it differently" - just a different way of saying it.

@steveknight878 I like yours better. The whole phrase implied a silent "if." It's just my thought.

Hello, Lucy Bella! Nice to see you hear you!❤
5/5 very informative, especially the later part of the lesson when it became more tricky.
(Native speaker from south USA), You explain things well. After I finish this video I will go looking for one on who/whom. I mostly get it right if it is obvious like the object of a preposition, but in some cases I'm not sure.
Learning English with you isn't complicated anymore. Thanks for everything. And I got 5 out of 5 after watching your video. That was really helpful and useful. Waiting for you to respond me. That would be a great pleasure.
Thanks, Lucy! Great lesson ❤

Wow ma'am! your accent of speaking is so pure that i love just love it. 💖
Nicely explained. Thank you.
Thank you for such a great explanation!
Well done. Your explanation conforms with Fowler's 'nouns of multitude' that can be either singular or plural.
YES, the lesson was very helpful. I also liked that you referred to American English. 😊
5 of 5. very useful. thank you, Lucy!
Thank you, Lucy. I appreciate your clear explanation and I am happy to report that I scored 5 out of 5.
Nice one Lucy. I got 5/5 but I have to admit I often struggle with that one, especially because I work with both English and American colleagues 🙂. Another one which I found tricky is whether to use singular or plural after every+noun and each+noun

I'd like to admit that I'm still learning english and not sufficiently good at english. But,in my knowledge, you have to use singular noun after every and each.
