What about hours written with numbers and not with letters in a dictation? Is it a mistake?

Is it acceptable? 55/71
Scored 66/71. Felt short for words like : -professor -wholewheat -flour -a (I wrote as - the pair of shoes) -wound (first one - wound around..) Thanks for the lesson and of course for the vocabularies too.

same with me xD, tbh i can't differentiate the pronunciation between flour and flower LoL
Hi, Lucy. Thanks so much for the video. Surprisingly I’ve got 71/71. I am not native speaker and haven’t been studying English for around 20 years since I graduated from the university. I believe I’ve got this result because I practiced dictation every day at university , but there were just words, not sentences. So this is an amazing practice and you have made it even better using sentences instead of just words. Thank you.
I'm actually happy to see myself hit 61/71 in this test. I didn't realize how important dictation practice is to my spoken English until now! Thank you Lucy!
Even though the exam was tough the professor has prepared them well enough

Some people actually find a profession they love. Lucy is a show of talent and professionalism. Thanks
I got 71 Lucy. Thanks a lot for these videos. They've always helped me and still helping me with my IELTS preparation. ❤
Thank you Lucy for teaching me how to passed the listening test. Appreciate it
I noticed your British emphasis in the word "(past) participle": "par-TIH-sih-pull" whereas in American English, we stress the first syllable: "PART-ih-sih-pull" See also: Dr. Seuss's "The Tough Coughs as he Ploughs the Dough"
You helped me a lot to get the British accent 🥺❤️❤️
I'm so glad and grateful for the video. You're a great teacher.
Thanks for your efforts ❤❤
Thank you very much Lucy for this dictation! It's so a good idea!
Hi Lucy. Thank you for giving this assignment . I got 54/71. I keep growing my English . Thank you once again.

68/71 thanks a ton teacher Lucy.
Years before, I was curious about your content that it would be monotonous. I still remember those days when you even started the then channel apart from this english lessons channel. Now, I am happy to see you grow this big with millions of subscribers and a variety of contents. Words from your subscriber when you were sub-million. Thank you for your videos and all the best for your future.
Thank you Lucy. This is great!
Thank you very much Lucy, I had 67/71🎉
Very interesting lesson, Lucy. I got 67/71. If I was doing this dictation a month ago, I would have probably gotten 66 as the word 'professor' was always confusing me and I instictly wanted to write 'proffesor'. Luckily, I have got that one deeply stored in my mind now. Anyway, it will be nice to have another similar lesson.
This was an excellent lesson.Enjoyable and simple.
Great effort Lucy
Amazing!!!10m subscribers!!! Congratulations🎉🎉
I've got 55/71. Thank you for the lesson.
I call myself lucky having scored almost the full 71 of 71. I only didn't write wholewheat together and I didn't put a hyphen between flower and shaped. BUT: I couldn't write quickly enough and had to hit pause after the first two readings. Thank you Lucy. That was a nice dictation test.
first sentence: “our train were scheduled at half past eight but it's an hour late.”😅 second sentence: “even though the exam was tough their professor prepared them well enough.” yey! 🎉 third sentence: “the chef used a whole wheat flower to make the the flower shape cake." lmaooo🤣👍🏼 4: “he left a pair of shoes out by his mother's pairtree in the garden.” one word 🙃 5: “Ben tried to tear off the bandage wound around his wound as he fought back tears.” perfect!!! ☺️
Please we need more lessons like that, I like you and your lesson.

I like Lucy so much. Thank you for your coaching 😊
I wanted to share something interesting that happened recently. About three days ago, I received a heartwarming email from our beloved teacher expressing her deep gratitude towards all her subscribers. It was truly touching to read how much she values our support. Naturally, I eagerly awaited a surprise gift, but to my surprise, the teacher had a different request in mind. Instead of a gift, she kindly asked her subscribers if they would be willing to make a donation towards a cause she deeply cares about. While it may not have been what I was expecting, I admire her dedication to making a positive impact in the world. It's wonderful to see someone using their platform to raise awareness and support for important causes.
hi lucy! it's been awhile since i watch your video and it makes me realize that i have to recap my english dictation before taking another IELTS test. my score is 58 btw :))

Well, helo, Lucy! I had the luck to find you thanks to Reddit, and I've a story to tell you. To be a smart ass first, both EFSet 50-minute test and your own test tell me that I'm at the C2 level regarding English (or, at least, working towards it!), but, here is the catch, my speech/accent is jarring to me because living in Chile, I rarely get the occasion to speak in your beautiful language, let alone with a Received Pronunciation x.x Well, enter English with Lucy! I've only watched 5 videos on your British pronunciation playlist and I absolutely adore it...I think I'll be here for the long haul, because I would like to reduce my South American accent, for in my mind the voice that thinks in English does it with a mixture of accents thanks to Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Monty Python and Years and Years. Now I've decide to watch The Crown, and I really like that Conservative RP! Oh, and regarding this dictation in particular, I got a score of -wait for it- 69/71 🙊 This exercise reminded me of school, tough, with a teacher who actually cares (and is a British-native). With this I leave you until a next time, oh, and high five me -it would be an honor-, I'm a History teacher here in Chile.
70/71! Very proud ❤😂
I am so proud of myself. Though English is not my native language, I got 68 out of 71!
Excellent exercise to understand words spoken in English
This can be played every day and practiced directly and is suitable for beginners,, thank you so much ❤
Very useful this dictation activity to work my listening and writing skills! Thanks a lot;)
I got 67 out of 71! Thanks a bunch for the video, lots of love! 🎉❤
I didn't get 71 out of 71...I'm so sorry Lucy. But yeah, this particular session will definitely sharpening my listening skill. I'm Grateful Forever.❤
Lucy thank you so much for your effort for us, I learnt American accent so that's why I got 46 of 71 😢 I don't know if this is a big problem for my american accent though.
Really interesting but very important to get these skills.
Thanks Lucy, I loved this dictation exercise! Would love to get more of these. I got 69/71. I didn't get "pear" from "his mother's pear tree"... and I got "the / that professor" instead of "their" professor...
First of all thank you so much Dear Lucy 💚for bringing this dictation for us. It completely reminded me of my school days when I used to take dictations in my classes😃😃. I had difficulty in the first and last sentence, some spelling mistakes, and a bit of listening issue. Anyways my score was *57 out of 71* 😉. Thank you so again it was great taking this dictation test. *LOVE FROM PAKISTAN🥰*
