I don’t have cable anymore, but I do have ESPN+. I hate when there’s a game on ESPN but not ESPN+. It doesn’t make any sense.

It's absolutely absurd that Dan Bylsma wasn't canned for that Bruins series. I wonder if this comment has any bearing on the team's current state.....

My ideal rule change for broadcasting...allow the home networks to broadcast every single game, regardless of whether it's on a national broadcast, or not. I'd much rather watch the Pens games with Pittsburgh Sportsnet than anywhere else.

I would say Bemstrom's grade is incomplete per the conditions of the trade, maybe the front office wanted to keep the higher pick, who knows? I say sign for a bare minimum for a year or two and go from there. One more thing to change the league, shorten the preseason and extend the regular season to 84 games, 4 games per division teams, 3 per conference teams and 2 per other conference teams. Or just keep the 82 games but make games outside the division just 2 games and have more games against the division mean even more if they're not going to fix the playoff format. Also, START. THE. GAMES. ON. TIME. I'm tired of waiting at a 7pm scheduled game only for the puck drop to start 15 minutes or half an hour or later! Ceremonies, Commencements or Celebrations whathaveyou is fine but cmon, really Bettman? Lastly 2013... hooboy, all I'll say is that I was ticked off all that summer! lmao Damn I wanted Iggy to get one so bad especially after the golden goal in Vancouver. I'm just glad Chicago destroyed their hopes in that amazing last few minutes of game 6. _especially after they shattered Philly's in 2010_ :]]] But I'm actually kinda glad to see Bylsma back behind the bench in the NHL. Hope he does well in Pittsburgh 2.0 aka. Seattle :p

I'd liked Bemstrom's energy, initially, especially on the powerplay, but he soon fell into the trap that so many others have and started deferring to Sid, Geno, and Letang on the powerplay, and not shooting the shots when you have them available.

I would let bemstrom walk. I have a feeling most of bottom 6 is set. Eller, puustinen and o'connor if pens bring in a top 6 wing on 3rd line. Acciari and puljujarvi on 4th. Im hoping poulin can step up and take other 4th line spot. I want dubas to sign jagger joshua to a nhl 2 way contract and give him a chance in bottom 6. I absolutely love that young man's game. He hits everything that moves. Would be a welcome edition to bottom 6

I know people hate having a ton of subscriptions but I would love if the NHL did their own subscription with ALL the games, your choice of broadcasts, no blackouts, and include an achive so any game that was recorded over the decades would be accessible. Could you imagine introducing new hockey fans to prime time Mario and Jagr? I mean, full games, not just KZread clips. And of they could make deals with the IIHF to broadcast all of the Worlds and other tournaments, and add the PWHL too. I would pay for that! Hockey is THE only sport I watch and I'm paying every month for ESPN+ and I don't watch 90% of what's on there and I can't watch a bunch of games I want to see because I don't have TNT or ABC and because of regional blackouts.

Sign Bemstrom for a one year, league minimum contract, and wave him if he is underperforming. But the guy is fast, and has a good shot, so he is what you call low risk - potential high reward

Yeah nothing about Emil Bemstrom stood out to me. I'm not opposed to bringing him back as an AHL callup guy, but he shouldn't have a regular spot in the lineup. I agree, I was fine with the trade because it's not like Alex Nylander ever proved himself, but Bemstrom didn't really move the needle either. And I'll never forgive Bylsma for mangling Jarome Iginla lol. Iginla is one of my all time favorite players and Bylsma played him on his off wing for no reason.

So I'm totally an old head but for me NHL on ESPN will never be complete until Gary Thorne comes back 😂

@@LockedOnPenguins apparently a few years ago when the NHL was coming back onto ESPN, they and Thorne had talks about him coming back but they never made an offer. Too bad

R y’all gonna say next to stick with the old core of Crosby malkin letang ???? That core is what has us in the cap situation we are in they need to get younger .

If you think the big 3 of Crosby Malkin and Letang has them in cap hell, you should prob go check capfriendly my man lol. They have close to $13M in salary cap space this offseason and can grow that.

@@LockedOnPenguins Sids a freakin bargain, Gino and Letang are only a few bucks more than Smith RR and Graves so they are a good deal as well, Smith and graves is a wasted 10 mill but who would have thought
