Trust me, none of them go off track on purpose. It’s one thing if they go off and cut a corner getting back on. But rolling past a jump and then hopping back onto the same straight is not an advantage in any way.

t many grey areas. Haiden did not pass anyone or did not gain any time when going off track. He won fair and square He was pulling away from Levi Kitchen toward the last two laps. Levi was having a bad day. He wasn't as fast as he usually is.

I think a lot of people assumed it was the part we all saw in moto 1 when haiden went off the track and obviously lost ground to Levi. The review was about a separate incident when haiden went off in moto 2. It happened when kitchen was probably the closest he ever got to haiden, haiden went off track coming out of a corner and went around a jump. He definitely didn't gain ground, but I think the reason they looked at it is because as soon as haiden got back to the very edge of the track he pinned it and threw a big roost, but technically he was inside the track markers at that point. I don't think there should be a penalty, but I do understand why they looked at it for so long because it was really close

Tom did not look back and stayed on the gas. Haiden slowed down and looked back. That is why Haiden did not get docked

It’s up to the AMA director. Who, if you didn’t know, directs the AMA. Therefore, no one has say so but the director of the AMA. Which means it doesn’t matter what we think or what is right or wrong. We all know the rules are a huge grey area. No different than targeting in football. Some people get thrown out. Some people get away with it. Sounds like life to me.

I’m team Deegan all day but Levi is 100% correct here

I could see it going either direction. But it seems like some weekends the inconsistencies work for you and the next it works against you. Seems kinda petty on PC's end tbh especially this early in the season. Let it roll and get him next weekend..

Actually, none of them should’ve been penalized. Ryan & Ricky was on point with their analysis. The shot callers who penalized them are the problem. Because they weren’t clear & equal across the board when they penalized them. They also said nothing would’ve changed (other than the points) if none of them were penalized.

if we dock deegan here we go and dock multiple people for going off with deegan in sx and deegan being the only one docked. or we take away deegan penalty from months ago.

Haiden seems a little calmer and more humble in his interviews. Still riding just as hard on the track, feels like he's headed for a good career

I feel like the way he rides won't transfer well to a 450, but maybe that's just how he rides the 250. I feel like Jett was just finesse and body position when Deegan is WFO.

@@TheTanner218 He's got a ways to go to get that all sorted out. It's definitely going to take a ton of strength to keep his same style. maybe it's possible in supercross but I'm not sure it will work for longer outdoors motos. Maybe he'll pick up some tomac influence if they keep riding together.

@@TheTanner218they have him training on a 450 like 2 days out of the week so he can ride the 250 the way he does.. Once he gets to 450s he’ll make the adjustments and get to the top after a couple seasons.

He can be top 5 but he is definitely no Jett. His style requires a lot of strength but he is also too erratic and makes too many mistakes to consistently challenge the top guys. He will have arm pump issues for sure with his style of riding.

If Tom was penalized then Deegs should be. Personally neither should be, but the fact that they were instant to penalize Tom and then had to “think” about Deegan shows some favoritism

i dont care what anyone says this years 250 class has become much more interesting than the 450 class. much prefer watching the 250s over the 450s much in part to a guy named Deegan😮

I think he shouldn’t be docked because he didn’t move up a place but the best thing to do is let the other rider go ahead just to be sure then just chase him down and pass him again which Haden is going to do anyway. Haden, it’s time for a cool pro motocross riders haircut that looks bad ass. Get the fluff out and look serious and people will take you serious. It’s going to be a long journey because your going to be one of the best riders ever in the 450 class as well

Why are we still talking about it? I watched it several times, he was on the gas for maybe a second, then, visibly slows down prior to re-entering the track. I have not found the footage of Vialle, so I can't compare. Anyone see his offtrack excursion?

No. Haiden always lost ground and he looked back to get on the track “safely”. Tom didn’t and he kept his same gap over Deegan. Simple as that. Obviously the AMA saw it the same or else they definitely would’ve penalized him.

You can see as clear as day that he lets off the gas and gets back on the track. And he loses time. It was a larger gap between the two when he got back on the track. Doesn’t matter now. It was great race in between the two of them. All good.

Giving Tom a penalty (when they shouldn't) has opened a can of worms that stink already.

First off a ton of people went off there so…. Fix the track so they don’t… create a larger berm there, or put some banners there… also maybe change the rule to go back on where you left or instead of waiting until after make it a drive thru penalty…. Because like Levi said he probably wouldn’t have passed him regardless…. So a drive thru is right it may cost you one or three who knows… but also fix the track

Raced in the 80's and have loved this sport all my life. But thanks to Yamaha and the claiming of Deagans bike at Loretta was handled wrong. I think Yamaha really made a big mistake, making threatening options to rider and sponsor. Good luck, but I am done watching.

If you look closely he didn't accelerate until he got back in line with the track markers, so technically he was within the track limits at that point.
