Jett is straight up different. This kid is the future of the sport. I'm trying not to over hype him, but if there's anyone that looks ready to add their name to the record books it's him.

@geoff beyer the racecraft is unreal for sure. He just straight managed both those races. Sexton was on him and he never looked like he was in trouble. Totally unreal.

@MAADUECE IDK if anyone would have been able to beat him today. Maybe Eli. Maybe. I think he rode at 80% in moto 2. I'm not sure if he would have turned it on or not if he had too and I'm not sure Eli could have made him. Everyone else would be lucky to run with Ferrandis.

So sad we won't get to see Tomac battle with Jett.

I thought Tomac was only racing Supercross even before the injury? He wasn't gonna be there anyway.

I am very impressed with Jett. To be doing that well you first race on a 450 against riders that have beeb on 450s for awhile is truly incredible. So happy for him.

@@miharughalealivio1615 i want to see everyone healthy and present, and yes it would have made it more difficult, the only injured rider to maybe challenge Jett for speed is tomac, and Sexton was beating him on speed often enough, so I think Jett would have won even if the field wasn't depleted Tomac's best against Jett would have been cool though

Definitely an impressive start to his career. If he doesn’t get the championship this season, next season will be his. I think he’ll only get more consistent and faster throughout the season.

Was there today, Jett was so smooth compared to everyone else on the track, dude is ripping on the 450. Genuinely think he will take this championship as long as he stays healthy

Jett is so smooth while going fast. He is in control. 30 seconds ahead of Ferrandis and the rest of the pack ? Chase "Oopsie Daisy" Sexton was there, but it looked like Jett had him covered. Hail the next 450 MX Champion.

Jett is the deal but with so many of the top riders out, man it is hard not to think about what would have been!

Sexton hawked jet all moto 2. Anyone in here thinking Sexton can bang bars with jet is nutts. An I won't even speak on how much smoother and faster outdoor Tomac was then Sexton last season. Jus sayin

Weege is the best! So glad he’s doing supercross races as well. Guy is a fan and rider and is perfect at simplifying some stuff to the common fan. Also the enthusiasm is next to none

Whoever thinks jett went 1-1 because theres alot of top level riders not racing are straight up haters...jet outclassed everyone in the field and deserves his respect ss a too tier rider. Would tomac have had anything for him? Maybe, but we wont know until it happens...roczen, anderson, barcia, would not have had the speed for this protege of a rider.

True but more would or could have changed the start making it possible for a 3 or 4th place start and the need to pass a few guys but chase is the fastest of the older group. And he beat him hands down don’t think he was even pushing.

Deegan has a long way to go before he's going to be challenging Jett for anything. Deegan still hasn't won a race. Chill out a bit on him. He could still end up not being fast enough to be a front runner.

Jett reynolds kicked his front tire after dabbing yes, i did see it as well and james will address that on his podcast. Racing incident, deegan would have made a very clean pass otherwise and in position to spoil hunters overall

Very upset with my boy jwalk was hoping for a 15-20 but oh well back to training this week to come out swinging next weekend I was also very surprised with deegans 2nd overall

I thought he could possibly be a major challenger this year and with the depleted field he's likely to be top 3 each race. I expected his biggest nemesis could be keeping it on 2 wheels with the big power, but he was great on the 450 at the Motocross of Nations last year in the muddy conditions and seems a natural on the big bike. I hope some of the other guys like AP and Sexton can challenge him. I thought Ferrandis would be a top contender but he didnt keep the pace during the first round here. Without Tomac, Roczen, Barcia, and El Hombre, I just dont see the battles for Jett and the season might be kinda lackluster. Jett is so good, if he stays healthy it might be domination for a long time.

Haidens just got to race consistently stay healthy and try and top 8 everyrace. You want to win the war not the battle so just keep building points

I recently learned that the Achilles tendon is the largest tendon in the body. The surgery for it looked pretty brutal also. Totally sux, too bad we'll never live to see the 3 fastest dudes in MX history battling it out.

Its going to be interesting to follow this year. Even with Sexton out for now and ET out. Would love to se Sexton and Lawrence trying to keep up with Eli in Beast mode. But sadly this doesn't happen this year

Looking at the 250 overall, I wonder how much points would change over the season if scores were calculated the same as they are for a lot of average local races. A few of the guys in the top ten would be in totally different positions and RJ wouldn't have even been in the podium.

Ferandis was 20 seconds behind Jett in moto 1 and 40 seconds in moto 2 at fox. Sorry Johnny but Dillion has no chance of matching Jett's lap times. The only way Dillion would win is Jett would have to fall or have bike issues. Jett is a true phenomenon and will easily win the championship. The premier class is the 250's.

Deegan has the 250 Class Wrapped up for the next couple years, but I don’t think anybody is going through Jett for the next 10 yrs. 😂 The man is unreal, isn’t even close to the best version of himself, I don’t know if Eli, Coop, Roczen, Sexton have anything for Jett. He might not win every race next year but I expect him to finish Top 3 in his rookie year, but wouldn’t shock me if he wins the title as a rookie. He’s that good, he’s gonna get bigger, stronger, he’ll have more control, this Moto season gives him some race time on a 450 for next yrs Supercross season.
