    A good ol charcole grill works just fine. Just find a way to cook indirect heat, and a chunk of apple wood or whatever you have locally (not all wood is good for smoking, so google it first) and you got yourself a bbq pit.

    Once it’s wrapped like that you can pretty much throw it in the oven at that point. No reason to keep running the smoker.

    What would you recommend if the series 700 goes from 250 to 300 I wouldn’t be able to do 275

    You could run it on 250 until the ribs hit like 170, then turn to 300 until finished. Just may take about a hour or two longer

    When smoking, temperature is not a specific must do. Experiment with both, make a batch one weekend at 250, and a couple weeks later at 300. Or like the other reply says, start at 250 and finish at 300, you cant really go wrong.

    I score them now, i used to remove them, but if you do low and slow, no need. However, with this recipe, i will probably remove the membrane.

    exactly what i was thinking… i like to make ribs with that sauce, combined with the rib juices, butter, and brown sugar, tossing wings in there absolutely finishes the deal.

    Cook in the over? Yes texture will be different and no smoke flavor. People say liquid smoke is good if that's your thing but I never tried it

    Faster cooking, and since more area is exposed per rib, you get a nice smoke ring in less time.
