Fall-off-the-bone-RIBS
Ingredients:
• 1 rack of pork back ribs or side ribs
• Salt
• Pepper (or Roasted Garlic and pepper spice)
• Paprika
• Pork BBQ sauce
Process
• Preheat oven to 275 Deg F
• Remove thin membrane (Silver Skin) from the back of the ribs (sometimes this is done already)
• Add salt, pepper (or roasted Garlic Pepper Spice) and paprika to both sides of the ribs (to taste)
• Place in a dry Dutch oven, bone side down. Put the lid on and bake at 275 Deg. F. for 3 hours.
• After 3 hours, remove ribs from oven, and change oven setting to broil.
• Baste any juices over-top of the ribs, then brush on your BBQ Sauce (top side only)
• Place ribs back into oven, this time with the lid off, and let it broil for usually 10 minutes (ovens vary) or until you achieve your desired color.
• Remove ribs to a serving platter and enjoy while they are still hot 😊
Home Made BBQ Sauce:
I like to make my own BBQ sauce and this is how I do it:
• ¼ cup hoisin sauce
• ¼ cup ketchup
• 1 TBSP soy sauce
• Mix all ingredients together…great flavor!!

Thanks for a great demonstration. I made dinner for my wife and I last night using this method. She told me that they were the best ribs that I have ever made. Usually I use my pellet grill. These were definitely “fall off the bone” fantastic!

Very nice for indoor ribs. I kind of do the opposite for ribs on the grill using charcoal and wood chips for smoke flavoring. I sear them to a light brown and then brush them with b-b-que sauce and let them caramelize on both sides and then I wrap them in aluminum foil and let them finish cooking on the cooler side of the grill.

For all those commenting/complaining re: the length of the video, I watched a tutorial on getting started on youtube and, apparently, youtube prefers longer videos to those shorter in length. I have no way of knowing if this is, in fact, the case, but it does seem as though many youtubers seem to stretch out the length of their videos (I'm not saying this is true of Ivo).

New to your channel! Great video - my mouth is watering! 3rd generation Sicilian here - my husband & I are going to try your Italian sausage recipe - he’s German, so we have the equipment for making brats, so we should be good to go! Your wife is darling! (I hope I will be as patient as she was untangling & rinsing those casings!) Anyway, I wish you showed how you removed the silver. Was that little piece all that you removed? Or did you take it all off? Thanks! Love your channel! Keep ‘em coming!

If you party freeze the raw ribs I find it easier to remove with a regular butter knife. Just get the knife under the end to start and with your hand & paper towel pull off.

If you don't have a dutch oven...can you wrap in Alum foil instead ? or use a shallow roasting pan? I want to try this....with pork and beef ribs both....thx
@CookingwiththeCoias

Yes, use the shallow roasting pan with a lid - if you don't have a lid, you can make one out of foil and ensure there's a tight seal so the juices don't evaporate 👍
I'm a BBQ nut with every smoking gadget out there. I sometimes oversmoke which troubles my wife so I thought I would try this recipe. I have to admit but these ribs were crazy tender without being mush. No smokey flavor of course so season well, easy to do but your dutch oven is going to get crusty...but well worth it.
