This is a long process , simple is once 1-jan-21 is there in field then delete rest , and then drag to bottom from next down column from 1-jan -21 (saves more time)

It's not a process to insert dates for months, In the video taken a sample record of dates, it may come with some database also where a date comes many times, it's also possible that date may come from any month or year. Hope you understood the requirement and this video is for that purpose only.

If your date in actual date format, just change the format of that column 1.Select Date Column/Cell 2.Go to Format Cell 3.Click on Custom 4.Type your format in box "d/m/yyyy" and get your result. You can also do it using formula =TEXT(, "d/m/yyyy")

It's happen because your system date format set in this format. to change it 1. Go to Control Panel (Choose Small Icons) 2. Click on Region 3. Under Format Tab, Click on Additional Settings.. 4. Under Date Tab, Put your format (d/m/yyyy) Now Your System and Excel date format will show in this default format only.

The given date format is as per source data that is MDY, but my system date format is DMY, so we need to correct the actual format as per source data not as per computer date format.
