My 7 year old son has expressed an interest in learning to shoot. So today we decided to take a couple of 22LR pistols out to the range. After going over the rules for being safe and respecting firearms, I was impressed with how well he took to it. For his first real outing, I think he did great! We had so much fun to boot! I broke up the video into 2 parts because it was too long for one. This first one features him shooting the Heritage Rough Rider. I normally edit out the space between strings of fire, but I left most of it in this time because his commentary and excitement is so adorable.
