Military Heritage Arms Elliott Pattern Light Dragoon of 1759
Taking a look at the Military Heritage Arms Elliot Pattern Light Dragoon Calvary Pistol. Introduced in 1759 and equipping the British Light Dragoons in the 1760's and beyond through the revolutionary war. This was an Indian import, non functioning black powder flint-lock firearm that was made functional by the previous owner. It's got some issues that I'm still working out, but it's a pretty piece, and hopefully I'll get her shooting better soon.

Frizzen spring is light. Try tightening the Frizzen screw to slow or quicken the frizzen timing.
Great video! You gotta love the Indian made guns
Thank you. From a Silver Star patron. God Bless and stay Safe.
Awesome thanks for sharing this. Good to see that old school canon shoot! Thanks for making this video Matthew!
Try using a touch hole wire to clean out your touch hole between shots. Also check the frizzen to make sure it was properly hardened.

Probably the wind. I was shocked how a slight breeze affected the spark on my long land pattern from military heritage, I can see why they didn't have battles in bad weather.
Hımm super , great a pistol l wanting that it pistol👍😇
Flint needs to be very solid. no movement. Don’t be fooled by the rumors. Those flintlocks from India are for shooting. Learn all you can about flint to frizzen tuning. 👍
It is not calvary, it is cavalry. Calvary is the hill Jesus was executed on.
